CROKE PARK SMART STADIUM
The Croke Park Smart Stadium project is a collaboration between GAA , Dublin City University, Intel, and Microsoft to fuel IoT innovation. Intel’s strategically positioned sensors and gateways throughout the stadium collect enormous amounts of data and store it on Microsoft Azure. DCU researchers use the Azure IoT Suite to analyze the data and provide actionable insights to help GAA improve fan experiences, safety and reduce their carbon footprint, while driving efficiencies and cost-effective stadium management.

Blood Sunday 1920 - Croke Park, Dublin
Clip from the film 'Michael Collins' about the Irish struggle for independence from the British oppressor. A terrible day in the history of Ireland. The Royal Irish Constabulary (RIC) opened fire on the crowd at a Gaelic football match in Croke Park, killing fourteen civilians. That evening, three IRA suspects in Dublin Castle were beaten and killed by their captors, allegedly while trying to escape.

Croke Park Stadium Dublin, Ireland- An Alternative Venue
Croke Park Stadium, a Dublin City Venue, is a great option if you are looking for a venue that will make a statement and help attract a crowd. Plenty of free parking, located 10 minutes from Dublin City Centre, if you are looking for flexibility, you will find it here. There are 2 very large conference rooms - for up to 750 people, and 89 meeting rooms. All with natural light and great views of the football pitch! The Footballers lounge is a great option for a party - tucked away behind the pitch. It is a surprise as you would never know it is there and the changing rooms offer a talking point for an incentive dinner or team building event.
