Best way to Experience the Sahara Desert | Camping in Merzouga, Morocco
The final Morocco vlog is here! Camping in the Sahara Desert at a spot called Merzouga.
Here we rode camels to our remote campsite, spent the night eating Moroccan food and listening to music played by the locals.
In the morning we made our way back to our new campsite by camel ride before jumping into some Jeeps to go on Safari.
To end it all a big long 13 hour bus ride to Marrakesh so we can finally show you what staying in a Riad is like.
Next stop: Flying home to surprise Jess's brother for Christmas!

Travel to Fes, Morocco. Fes is the oldest and largest medieval city in the world, and a bustling hive of activity. The medina is a must for adventurous travellers – a heady mix of aromas, sounds and sights from the tanneries, spice tubs, carpets, pottery and leather goods.
The Medina is divided up into 2, Fes el Bali (Old Fes) and Fes el Djedid (new Fes). Exploring The African Jewel Of Fez In Morocco 2018: A Travellers Dream
Fes is a northeastern Moroccan city often referred to as the country’s cultural capital. It’s primarily known for its Fes El Bali walled medina, with medieval Marinid architecture, vibrant souks and old-world atmosphere. The medina is home to religious schools such as the 14th-century Bou Inania and Al Attarine, both decorated with elaborate cedar carvings and ornate tile work.
Lost Gems Of Islamic History
Islamic history & heritage should play an integral part in the life of any Muslim. Although history details constructs of the past it is still however entrenched in modern day living and plays a part in our everyday lives. We can see history all around us if we observe below the surface of societal structures. This eBook was written and compiled over a period of around 12 months. It contains 43 individual and unique stories related to Islamic history from swashbuckling pirates, Mongol warriors, ancient technology, Viking age treasure, warrior Queens, centres of learning, Chinese poetry and many more lost gems of Islamic heritage. This eBook provides real value to any reader and the content within can be shared enlightening both young and old. The reason why I wrote this material in relation to this particular genre was to inspire and motivate a generation of Muslim and non-Muslim youth to reconnect with the past and create contemporary innovations and groundbreaking discoveries to become modern day leaders in fields such as science, medicine, tech, art, culture, literature, business and beyond.

Morocco road trip - Rabat, Merzouga, Ait Benhaddou
In our 2500 km self-drive road trip we stopped in Essaouira, Rabat, Fes, Merzouga (Sahara), Ait Benhaddou, Marrakech and Agadir.
In some places we filmed extra vlogs:

FES:
MARRAKECH:
In this video you can see our adventures in Rabat, Merzouga, Ait Benhaddou and due to technical problems, a very small part of our visit in Agadir.
Renting a car in Morocco is not very expensive. Gas is also decent cheap (under 1 Euro for 1 L). Traffic can be crazy in cities, but outside the cities, it is pretty OK.
Enjoy and please don't forget to subscribe! :)

The amazing maze of Fez (Morocco vlog, fes, fez)
Our second moroccan vlog takes us to Fez, the UNESCO world heritage site in the middle of Morocco. The Fez medina is truely an amazing... maze and our adventures began right in the night we got there.. at midnight it was very difficult to find the riad (moroccan guesthouse) and the streets were narrow, dark and creepy. The 2 uninvited guides, one of them completely stoned and the other one greedy demanded 50 Euros for finding our accomodation.. After a hard wordfight in 3 languages, my gorls won the battle and we got away with only 20 Euros :)
Next day the things looked way better...

Sahara Desert of Marrakesh - Meeting the Berber People of Morocco
Just outside of Marrakech, Morocco, are the Atlas mountains and the indigenous people that live there known as the Berbers. On today's travel, the locals gave us a raw and real look into their daily lives. After we went on a Sahara style adventure without going on the 9 hour drive from Marrakech to the Sahara desert with LG gram, a fantastic, portable travel laptop. Scarabeo camp just outside of Marrakesh gave us the next best thing with camel rides, luxury tents, and incredible star gazing. A huge thank you to LG for partnering with me on today's adventure and providing me an LG gram, equipped with 22.5 hrs of long-lasting battery.

While our 2 week journey through Morocco we were not only given the opportunity to discover its hidden gems but we were also able to catch a small glimpse of the daily life of Moroccan people.
Whether we were walking through the Souks of Marrakech or were exploring places like the Sahara Desert, Fez, Rabat, Casablanca, Taghazout or the city of Ait Benhaddou also known as Yunkai from Game of Thrones - we always had our cameras with us to capture the incredible stories that appeared to just happen on the street every single day.
Morocco is perfect for a Road Trip, a quick city visit or a chill surfing vacation. 10/10 would recommend!
