The first snowfall of winter 2009. 8.30am, November 6th. Through Cole Harbour and Dartmouth. Sped up x4.
It's hard to tell, but the woman in the car in front of me is doing her makeup for the entire length that I was behind her on Caldwell Road - that's why she's wandering all over the right side of the street and breaking suddenly. What better time to do your makeup than driving on a collector during a snowstorm (when few people have their winter ties installed) during morning rushour while passing an elementary school? Sheesh...

I thought that I would put this video out there so that everyone can remember when the weather was better in Nova Scotia. Summer will soon return and the Oceanfront will soon be a wonderful place to be.
Everyone please stay safe in the current winter bomb cyclone storm, stay warm, and dry please.
The Ferry from Halifax to Dartmouth gives you such a great opportunity to feel the breeze on your face and feel like you are at see. It also lets you see the city, the Navy and the Casino in a brand new light.
When you get to Dartmouth there are often craftspeople, and good food in the landing. A short walk downtown and you will meet great small town relaxed and friendly people,.
Halifax offers a little bit of everything for everyone. A park that should be famous, a Library that is a design wonder, and a shopping walks that are great to behold.

There's only a few days left before I leave for my trip to Nicaragua, Central America and I wanted to begin my vlog in my hometown of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada. In the park I open up about being vulnerable on this new vlog, my feelings on traveling, and why vlogging this new phase of my life is important to me. Then I take a walk over to the Dartmouth waterfront to watch the ferries and sunset over the Halifax Harbour.
