Mysore Dasara Exhibition 2019 Mysore tourism Karnataka tourism, Mysore Dasara Exhibition 2019 is a major tourist attraction which is held in Dasara Exhibition grounds opposite to Mysore Palace, at Doddakere Maidens.
Maharaja of Mysore Chamaraja Wadiyar X started Dasara Exhibition in 1880 with the aim of introducing timely developments to the people of Mysore. Annual Dasara Exhibition is organised by the Karnataka Exhibition Authority(KEA),
Shopping stalls are set up selling varieties of daily use commercial products like clothes, toys, handicrafts, cosmetics, Sarees, traditional costumes, art works and children play toys. There is separate children play area and games stalls present. At the farthest end of exhibition grounds amusement park is set up consisting of thrilling, exciting fun joy rides both for children and adults. Giant wheel, disco dancer, ferry wheel, fun world etc.

As the Mysore Dasara Exhibition draws to an end this week, we decided to go explore what 's on offer. The Dasara Exhibition is held for about 3 to 4 months and begins during the Dasara festival in Mysore. This exhibition is held at the Mysore Dasara Exhibition grounds, adjacent to the Mysore Palace.
The Dasara Exhibition is a real treat for shopping enthusiasts, with items ranging from pillow covers and fashion jewelry to spices and various kitchen equipment at extremely cheap prices. We loved the jewelry collection here, and couldn't resist bringing home some lovely pieces.

Mysore Dasara Exhibition Part 1
Major attraction during Dasara is the Dasara exhibition which is held in the exhibition grounds opposite to the Mysore Palace. The exhibition was started by the Maharaja of Mysore Chamaraja Wodeyar X in 1880 with the sole aim of introducing timely developments to the people of Mysore. The task of holding the exhibition is now entrusted with the Karnataka Exhibition Authority (KEA).[20] This exhibition starts during Dasara and goes on till December. Various stalls which sell items like clothes, plastic items, kitchenware, cosmetics and eatables are set up and they attract a significant number of people. A play area containing attractions like a Ferris wheel is also present to provide entertainment to the people. Various Governmental agencies setup stalls to signify the achievements and projects that they have undertaken.

The Mysore Dasara 2019 Exhibition will begin from 29th September 2019 and will be held for 90 day. There will be at least 45 different kinds of amusement items and games, specially designed for children.
Entry fee to the exhibition will be Rs. 50 per person.

Mysore Dasara Exhibition 2019 is wonderful. It has a variety of stalls from different parts of india..The special feature of this years exhibition is Wonder World. It is simply wonderful. This exhibition is drawing huge crowds particularly on weekends .The pavilions of Forest Department, Karnataka Tourism,Lalitakala Academy of fine arts and crafts, Mandya Pavilion etc are impressive. It has several Textile stalls,ceramic stalls,Jewelry stalls,foot wear stalls,House hold items stalls,toy shops. There are many eateries serving mouth watering dishes. It has several enjoyable rides for children as well as adults.
