I do hope there is some historical interest in this film for the people of Walmer and Deal.
If I had not have here upload this footage it would be lost forever.
This was filmed in 1987 by our (then 17 year old) son who filmed this to show to his mother who is from Walmer and now resides in Australia .........I hope there is something in this film for you the viewer to enjoy.

Deal beach stretches along the seafront of Deal split by the Pier and on the Western end you have the Tudor Deal Castle. Deal beach is a large shingle beach with wooden groynes backed by a flat promenade and road.
