Lyrics:
Antigua and Barbuda
An Island country in the West Indies
In the Americas
Antigua and Barbuda
Lies between the Caribbean Sea And the Atlantic We’ll show ya
I’m the Island of Antigua
And the Southern of the two mainlands
St Kitts & Nevis to my west
And North of Guadeloupe
I stand
I am one of the Leeward Islands
In the Caribbean Region
I am the main island of my country
This knowledge I Will expand
I have 6 Parishes
Located here you will see
Take a look at my Parish map
See their location on me
I am Saint George Parish
In the North
I touch the Caribbean Sea
For what that is worth
Hello, I’m Saint John
A Parish to the Northwest
I also touch the Caribbean Sea
Of this, I do attest
Saint Mary is here
I am in the Southwest
Of Antigua and Barbuda
Visit me I’m the best
Saint Paul is my name
I’m located in the South
I border the Willoughby Bay
You heard this from my mouth
Saint Peter is speaking
I am in the Northeast
I have a few islands
extending to the sea
Hello, my names Saint Philip
I’m on the East side
And the last of the Parishes
It’s where I reside
Antigua and Barbuda
An Island country in the West Indies
In the Americas
Antigua and Barbuda
Lies between the Caribbean Sea And the Atlantic We’ll show ya
I am Barbuda
Forming the 2nd part of my country here
The Northern Island
And part of the Leeward Islands
I hold dear
I have a small town
it’s called Codrington
Located on the west coast of
Beautiful island
I’m Redonda
An uninhabited Caribbean island
I am legally part of this country
The Southwest I do span
Antigua and Barbuda
Does have a capital
Its name is St. John's
Please sing the chorus in full
Antigua and Barbuda
An Island country in the West Indies
In the Americas
Antigua and Barbuda
Lies between the Caribbean Sea And the Atlantic We’ll show ya
Indigenous Names of the Caribbean Islands
The Caribbean islands was inhabited by the Amerindians for some 4000 years before the arrival of Christopher Columbus in 1492. Therefore, of course, they had their own names for the islands.
There were 2 distinct groups.
1) The Arawak’s – Also known as Taino.
2) The Caribs – Also known as the Kalinago
Cuba – Some authors think it was names after the town of Cuba in the Beja in Portugal, but I am almost sure it is a derivation of the indigenous name, Cubao, its way to close for it to be a coincidence. Although the meaning is not sure Cubao may be translated to “Where the fertile land is abundant”.
Jamaica – This one is easy because I think most persons know that the indigenous name for Jamaica is Xaymaca, which of course, Jamaica is derived from. The meaning of Xaymaca is “land of wood and water or land of Springs”
Hispaniola – for those that don’t know, Hispaniola is the name if the whole Island that includes the nations of Haiti and the Dominican Republic. So, the original names might have been Ayiti or Kiskeya, Ayiti of course became Haiti. Ayiti means rough earth or mountainous land. Kiskeya means Mother of all lands.
Puerto Rico – Which means rich Port in Spanish. Indengous name was Boriken which itself means “land of the Valiant and noble Lord”.
Anguilla – which means eel is some form of early Spanish was named Malliouhana by the Taino natives it means Arrow Shaped Sea Serpent because of its shape.
St. Martin – This refers to the entire island, not the different parts as you know St. Martin is shared by the Netherlands and French. The island is named after Saint Martin of Tours because Christopher Columbus named on St. Martin’s Day. 11 November. The original indigenous names where Soualiga or Oualichi which means “land of Salt”.
St. Kitts – Which has a formal name of Saint Christopher Island, Ingenious name was Liamuiga which means “fertile land”
Nevis – Which is derived for the Spanish phrase “Nuestra Senora d las Nieves” meaning Our lady of the Snow”. The Carib name was Oualie, meaning “land of beautiful waters”.
Montserrat – named after the Virgin of Montserrat of Montserrat mountain near Barcelona in Catalonia in Spain. Its Carib name is Alliouagana, which means “land of prickly Bush”.
Barbuda – Which most lightly means “bearded” original Carib name was Wa’omoni meaning “land of Herons or Large birds”
Antigua – ancient in Spanish – original indigenous name is Waladi which mean “land of Fish Oil”
Guadeloupe – named after the Virgin Mary, venerated in the Spanish town of Guadalupe. With the indigenous name being Karuhera. Means “island of beautiful water”
Dominica – named after the Latin word for Sunday after the day Christopher Columbus spotted the island. The Caribs named it Wai'tukubuli which means “Tall as Her Body”
Martinique – The name evolved from the original name giving to it Martinica to Madinina Which mean “island of flowers”. There are claims that Madinina is the Carib name of the island but there is evidence it was also called Jouanacaëra meaning ‘the island of Iguanas
St. Lucia – names after Saint Lucy of Syracuse. The Carib name was Hewanorra meaning “land of the Iguanas
St. Vincent – so named because it is said Columbo “discovered” it on 22 January, the feast day of Saint Vincent of Saragossa. The Carib name is Hairouna meaning “land of the blessed.”
Grenada – Not totally sure the original of name Grenada, one theory is it names after the town of Granada in Spain. The indigenous name is Chamerhogue, but I could not find the meaning of this word.
Barbados – Derived from the Spanish word Los Barbados, meaning “the bearded ones”. The indigenous name is Ichirouganaim with possible translations meaning Red land with white teeth” or just “teeth” about the coral Reefs.
Tobago – Which has no other recorded name other than that of Tobago which means tobacco pipe. It can be indigenous as the word for Tobacco has roots in native Taino/Carib languages.
Trinidad – So named because the full Spanish name was “Isla de la Trinidad” which means the island of the Trinity”. The original Indigenous name was said to be Iëre meaning “land of the Hummingbird” but it has been accepted that that was a corruption of the Awarak work Kairi which mean simple “island”.

Today English Harbour and the neighbouring village of Falmouth are known as a yachting and sailing destination and provisioning centre. During Antigua Sailing Week, at the end of April and beginning of May, an annual regatta brings a number of sailing vessels and sailors to the island to play sports.
On 6 September 2017, the Category 5 Hurricane Irma destroyed 90 percent of the buildings on the island of Barbuda. Residents were evacuated to Antigua.

AROUND THE WORLD without visas
You will not surprise anyone with around-the-world travel in the 21st century. People span the globe by land, water and air, on foot and by bicycles, alone and with their families. Generally speaking, any around the world travel is, in fact, a journey home with the longest detour.
Nonsense! Thus, around the world travelers are forced to think of new vehicles – from stilts to a children's scooter, or of new conceptual ideas.
Valery Shanin can not complain about lack of ideas. The professional traveler, writer and journalist, began his first circumnavigation back in 1999. He returned home only in 2002, traveling mostly hitchhiking. On the one hand, he has spent 1080 days for this travel. And on the other – only 280 dollars! This way having made one of the most economical circumnavigations.
Five years later, Valery Shanin had another idea. How about trying to circle the Earth as quickly as possible, by saving time instead of money? How many days would be necessary for this purpose? 108 – such is Valery's answer. After having returned home from such a high-speed expedition, Shanin decided, that the subject of circumnavigations was settled for him.
But how can the traveler stay still at home? And here, a new idea turned out! It came obviously from the former traveling experience, that was often connected with the burdensome procedure of obtaining visas. Communication with the embassy and consulate officials, unfortunately, inevitably saddens any most interesting travel. However, there are countries, visa-free for Russians! So, it is possible to go traveling, without addressing consulates. This is how the project The World without Visas was brought to life.
Valery decided to begin with no less, than with a circumnavigation.
Around the world without visas! - Shanin put forward the loud slogan, and left for Europe, Africa, Middle East, Indochina, South East Asia, Oceania, South America, Carribean islands. 38 countries in 255 days and with no one visit to any consulate.

SUMMARY
=======
Grenada ( (listen) grih-NAY-də) is a country in the West Indies in the Caribbean Sea at the southern end of the Grenadines island chain. Grenada consists of the island of Grenada itself plus six smaller islands which lie to the north of the main island. It is located northwest of Trinidad and Tobago, northeast of Venezuela and southwest of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Its size is 348.5 square kilometres (134.6 sq mi), and it had an estimated population of 107,317 in 2016. Its capital is St. George's. Grenada is also known as the Island of Spice due to its production of nutmeg and mace crops, of which it is one of the world's largest exporters. The national bird of Grenada is the critically endangered Grenada dove.
Before the arrival of Europeans in the Americas, Grenada was inhabited by the indigenous Arawaks and later by the Island Caribs. Christopher Columbus sighted Grenada in 1498 during his third voyage to the Americas. Although it was deemed the property of the King of Spain, there are no records to suggest the Spanish ever landed or settled on the island. Following several unsuccessful attempts by Europeans to colonise the island due to resistance from the Island Caribs, French settlement and colonisation began in 1650 and continued for the next century. On 10 February 1763, Grenada was ceded to the British under the Treaty of Paris. British rule continued, except for a period of French rule between 1779 and 1783, until 1974. From 1958 to 1962, Grenada was part of the Federation of the West Indies, a short-lived federation of British West Indian colonies. On 3 March 1967, Grenada was granted full autonomy over its internal affairs as an Associated State. Herbert Blaize was the first Premier of the Associated State of Grenada from March to August 1967. Eric Gairy served as Premier from August 1967 until February 1974.
Independence was granted on 7 February 1974, under the leadership of Eric Gairy, who became the first Prime Minister of Grenada. In March 1979, the Marxist–Leninist New Jewel Movement overthrew Gairy's government in a coup d'état and established the People's Revolutionary Government (PRG), headed by Maurice Bishop as Prime Minister. On 19 October 1983, hard-line Deputy Prime Minister Bernard Coard and his wife Phyllis, backed by the Grenadian Army, led a coup against the government of Maurice Bishop and placed Bishop under house arrest. Bishop was later freed by popular demonstration and attempted to resume power, but he was captured and executed by soldiers. On 25 October 1983, forces from the United States and the Barbados-based Regional Security System (RSS) invaded Grenada in a U.S.-led operation code-named Operation Urgent Fury. The invasion was highly criticised by the governments of Britain, Trinidad and Tobago and Canada, along with the United Nations General Assembly. Elections were held in December 1984 and were won by the Grenada National Party under Herbert Blaize, who served as Prime Minister until his death in December 1989.

Turkey (Turkish: Türkiye [ˈtyɾcije]), officially the Republic of Turkey (Turkish: Türkiye Cumhuriyeti [ˈtyɾcije d͡ʒumˈhuɾijeti] ( listen)), is a transcontinental country in Eurasia and Middle East, located mainly in Western Asia, with a smaller portion on the Balkan peninsula in Southeast Europe. Turkey is bordered by eight countries: Greece and Bulgaria to the northwest; Georgia to the northeast; Armenia, the Azerbaijani exclave of Nakhchivan and Iran to the east; and Iraq and Syria to the south. The country is encircled by seas on three sides, with the Aegean Sea to the west, the Black Sea to the north, and the Mediterranean Sea to the south. The Bosphorus, the Sea of Marmara, and the Dardanelles, which together form the Turkish Straits, divide Thrace and Anatolia and separate Europe from Asia. Ankara is the capital while Istanbul is the country's largest city and main cultural and commercial centre, classified as a leading global city. Approximately 70–80% of the country's citizens identify as ethnic Turks. Kurds are the largest minority at about 20% of the population.
At various points in its history, the region has been inhabited by diverse civilizations including the Assyrians, Greeks, Thracians, Phrygians, Urartians, and Armenians. Hellenization started during the era of Alexander the Great and continued into the Byzantine era. The Seljuk Turks began migrating into the area in the 11th century, and their victory over the Byzantines at the Battle of Manzikert in 1071 symbolizes the start and foundation of Turkey. The Seljuk Sultanate of Rûm ruled Anatolia until the Mongol invasion in 1243, when it disintegrated into small Turkish principalities. Beginning in the late 13th-century, the Ottomans started uniting these Turkish principalities. After Mehmed II conquered Constantinople in 1453, Ottoman expansion continued under Selim I. During the reign of Suleiman the Magnificent the Ottoman Empire encompassed much of Southeast Europe, West Asia and North Africa and became a world power. In the following centuries the state entered a period of decline with a gradual loss of territories and wars. In an effort to consolidate the weakening social and political foundations of the empire, Mahmut II started a period of modernisation in the early 19th century, bringing reforms in all areas of the state including the millitary and bureaucracy along with the emancipation of all citizens. In 1913, a coup d'état effectively put the country under the control of the Three Pashas. During World War I, the Ottoman government committed genocides against its Armenian, Assyrian and Pontic Greek subjects. Following the war, the conglomeration of territories and peoples that formerly comprised the Ottoman Empire was partitioned into several new states. The Turkish War of Independence, initiated by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his colleagues against occupying Allied Powers, resulted in the abolition of monarchy in 1922 and the establishment of the Republic of Turkey in 1923, with Atatürk as its first president. Atatürk enacted numerous reforms, many of which incorporated various aspects of Western thought, philosophy, and customs into the new form of Turkish government. The Kurdish–Turkish conflict, an armed conflict between the Republic of Turkey and Kurdish insurgents, has been active since 1984 primarily in the southeast of the country. Various Kurdish groups demand separation from Turkey to create an independent Kurdistan or to have autonomy and greater political and cultural rights for Kurds in Turkey,
Turkey is a charter member of the UN, an early member of NATO, the IMF and the World Bank, and a founding member of the OECD, OSCE, BSEC, OIC and G-20. After becoming one of the first members of the Council of Europe in 1949, Turkey became an associate member of the EEC in 1963, joined the EU Customs Union in 1995 and started accession negotiations with the European Union in 2005 which have been effectively stopped by the EU in 2017 ...

SUMMARY
=======
Grenada ( ( listen) grih-NAY-də) is a country in the West Indies in the southeastern Caribbean Sea consisting of the island of Grenada and six smaller islands at the southern end of the Grenadines island chain.
