Being QUEER in Beijing, China: Are there any GAY BARS? #LGBTQI
Beijing’s nightlife has a lot to offer. But what if you are gay?
#LGBTQI #China #nightlife
Two men are sitting so close together that their arms and legs are touching. The DJ shakes rhythmically to the sound of his electronic dance music, and the air smells faintly sweet and sour like tequila mixed with strawberry juice.
Then, I see her - Wonder Woman. She is dancing a slow, seductive dance, wrapping her hips up and down a closed umbrella and swaying them in round circles in a tight blue skirt... (Read more:

China - Shanghai to Beijing in 4 Hr 30 Min @ 350Km/hr Fuxing Hao Bullet Train
Welcome to Shanghai Railway station and today we are going to travel to Beijing in China from Shanghai 2 of the largest metropolis in China. This new Fuxing Hao bullet train is the fastest in the world and covers the distance of over 1200 km in 4hrs 30 min.
The Beijing–Shanghai high-speed railway (or Jinghu high-speed railway, from its name in Mandarin) is a high-speed railway 1,318 kilometres (819 mi) long that connects two major economic zones in the People's Republic of China: the Bohai Economic Rim and the Yangtze River Delta. Construction began on April 18, 2008,[3] with the line opened to the public for commercial service on June 30, 2011. It is the world's longest high-speed line ever constructed in a single phase. The line is one of the busiest high speed railways in the world, transporting over 180 million annual passengers in 2017 more than the annual ridership of the entire TGV or Intercity-Express network. It is also China's most profitable high speed rail line, reporting a 6.6 billion yuan net operational profit in 2015.
First, trains would be slowed to a maximum speed of 300 km/h (186 mph), reducing operating costs. At this speed, the fastest trains would take 4 hours and 48 minutes to travel from Beijing South to Shanghai Hongqiao, making one stop at Nanjing South.[ On September 21, 2017, 350 km/h operation was restored with the introduction of China Standardized EMU. This reduced travel times between Beijing and Shanghai to about 4 hours 18 minutes on the fastest scheduled trains, attaining an average speed of 291.9 km/h (181.4 mph) over a journey of 1,302 km (809 mi) making those services the fastest in the world.
I am an avid traveler, like to see places of interest - Historic, Natural Beauty, Hindu Pilgrimage sites, UNESCO World Heritage Sites, popular tourist destinations. I capture what I am fascinated with and I also capture my journey by train, Rail Road, Ship, Air. I am fascinated by the uniqueness and diversity of the different modes of transportation.
My Camera Gear - I use different Cameras for different purposes. My TOP Camera for long Zoom and some fascinating 4K stuff it is Panasonic FZ 300. Canon G7X MKII is my ideal choice for wonderful Video logging and some night photos. For catching actions, scenes on the go, and some hard stuff to catch using normal cameras I use GoPro - GoPro Session 5 and GoPro Hero Black. For on the spot, on the Go and unanticipated and unexpected catches I use my new iPhone XR / OnePlus 6.

BEIJING (source Wikipedia):
Beijing (北京市), formerly romanized as Peking, is the capital of the People's Republic of China, the world's second most populous city proper, and most populous capital city. The city, located in northern China, is governed as a direct-controlled municipality under the national government with 16 urban, suburban, and rural districts. Beijing Municipality is surrounded by Hebei Province with the exception of neighboring Tianjin Municipality to the southeast; together the three divisions form the Jingjinji metropolitan region and the national capital region of China.
As a city combining both modern and traditional architecture, Beijing is a megacity rich in history, exemplified in its global influence in politics, economy, education, history, culture, and technology. Beijing is the second largest Chinese city by urban population after Shanghai and is the nation's political, cultural, and educational center. It is home to the headquarters of most of China's largest state-owned companies and is a major hub for the national highway, expressway, railway, and high-speed rail networks. The Beijing Capital International Airport has been the second busiest in the world by passenger traffic since 2010, and, as of 2016, the city's subway network is the busiest and second longest in the world, after Shanghai's subway system.
The city's history dates back three millennia. As the last of the Four Great Ancient Capitals of China, Beijing has been the political center of the country for much of the past eight centuries. With mountains surrounding the inland city on three sides, in addition to the old inner and outer city walls, Beijing was strategically poised and developed to be the residence of the emperor and thus was the perfect location for the imperial capital. Beijing was the largest city in the world by population for much of the second millennium A.D. The city is renowned for its opulent palaces, temples, parks, gardens, tombs, walls and gates. Its art treasures and universities have made it center of culture and art in China. Encyclopædia Britannica notes that few cities in the world have served for so long as the political headquarters and cultural centre of an area as immense as China. Beijing has seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites – the Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace, Ming Tombs, Zhoukoudian, as well as parts of the Great Wall and the Grand Canal, all popular locations for tourism. Siheyuans, the city's traditional housing style, and hutongs, the narrow alleys between siheyuans, are major tourist attractions and are common in urban Beijing. The city hosted the 2008 Summer Olympics and was chosen to host the 2022 Winter Olympics, making it the first city to ever host both Winter and Summer Olympics.
Many of Beijing's 91 universities consistently rank among the best in China, of which Peking University and Tsinghua University are ranked in the top 60 universities of the world.

Many cities and temples had both drum and bell towers and the drums and bells rang throughout the day.
Tea has been an important part of Chinese life since at least the 8th century. There was an elaborate ceremony when it was served.

We delve into this difficult topic and talk about China and Chinese people objectively.

Nanchang 南昌is the capital of Jiangxi Province in south-eastern China, located in the north-central portion of the province. As it is bounded on the west by the Jiuling. Mountains, and on the east by Poyang Lake, it is famous for its scenery, rich history and cultural sites. Because of its central location relative to the Yangtze and Pearl River Delta regions, it is a major railroad hub in Southern China.
China, or 中国, officially the People's Republic of China (PRC), is a sovereign state located in East Asia. It is the world's most populous country, with a population of over 1.35 billion. The PRC is a single-party state governed by the Communist Party, with its seat of government in the capital city of Beijing. It exercises jurisdiction over 22 provinces, five autonomous regions, four direct-controlled municipalities (Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, and Chongqing), and two mostly self-governing special administrative regions (Hong Kong and Macau). The PRC also claims Taiwan -- which is controlled by the Republic of China (ROC), a separate political entity -- as its 23rd province, a claim which is controversial due to the complex political status of Taiwan.
Covering approximately 9.6 million square kilometers, China is the world's second-largest country by land area,[17] and either the third or fourth-largest by total area, depending on the method of measurement. China's landscape is vast and diverse, ranging from forest steppes and the Gobi and Taklamakan deserts in the arid north to subtropical forests in the wetter south. The Himalaya, Karakoram, Pamir and Tian Shan mountain ranges separate China from South and Central Asia. The Yangtze and Yellow Rivers, the third- and sixth-longest in the world, run from the Tibetan Plateau to the densely populated eastern seaboard. China's coastline along the Pacific Ocean is 14,500 kilometres (9,000 mi) long, and is bounded by the Bohai, Yellow, East and South China Seas.

One of my favorite things about Malaysia is the diversity among it's people. Walking around the streets of Kuala Lumpur, I am always stunned by the multi-cultural, multi-ethic and multi-lingual locals that I come across.
Malaysia's two biggest ethnic groups (aside from Malay) are Chinese and Indian -- and when you mix their blood together over the decades, you have this amazing sub-ethnic group called Chindians.
I met some Chindians today in K.L. and I wanted to give you a glimpse into their lives in this video.
If you are a Chindian, I'd love to hear your story below (struggles and/or advantages)? Personally, I think they are a beautiful thing because Chindians can get the best of BOTH worlds (think Indian weddings and Chinese food).

Multi-Regional CHINESE FOOD TOUR at Night - Cantonese, Shanxi, Sichuan & Ningbo | Shanghai, China
When I traveled to China for the second time in four years in April of 2019, all of the memories I made with my dad during our 2015 trip to the country came rushing back to me. The sights, the smells, and definitely the flavors. Together, those three, along with the rich history and culture, make China a must-visit destination for all travelers. I’m so excited to share my Chinese adventures with you!
Follow UnTour Food Tours on Instagram:
After roughly 24 full hours in Shanghai, my first full day in the city continued into the night with an incredible multi-regional Chinese food tour with my new friend Li from UnTour Food Tours. They do really intimate tours in Shanghai and Beijing, so check them out when you visit!
We started with a Chinese version of a pulled pork sandwich. It’s made with a crispy bread and pork belly, pork fat, and pork skin. It was like a pork bun in sandwich form. It was sweet and savory and both crispy and soft. I loved the five layers and how juicy and tender it was! There are also lamb and beef versions!
Then we headed to a Hong Kong-style café. It’s Cantonese food, which is very different from Mandarin. This place had lots of neon lights and had a diner-like feel. The food has a British feel to it because Hong Kong was ruled by the British.
We started with some locally-brewed rice wine and a draft beer. We also got a pineapple bun with no pineapple, beef rice noodles, roasted pork and duck, and yellow mustard and plum sauce. The rice wine was like a plum-like sake!
The pork belly with yellow mustard was fatty, crispy, and juicy. The duck had nice skin and a great glaze. It was also super fatty and tender! I loved the beef noodles with sprouts and onions, which had a nice sauce. Next was the pineapple bread, which didn’t contain pineapple, but had butter in it. It was sweet with a layer of sugar on top and there was a nice layer of butter in the middle!
After a few more glasses of rice wine, we headed out and grabbed some Ningbo food. We got some Chinese moonshine, called sunshine! It was called the “Strong Aroma.” It definitely had a strong smell. It was super strong, but I wanted more!
Next was the Tsingtao white beer, which I liked it a lot. It almost tasted like bubblegum!
Then we got two dishes: a crispy bamboo that was moist in the center, and fish with seaweed. I loved the seaweed. It was crispy and salty and melted in my mouth. You need to chew it well so you don’t get any bones stuck in your throat!
Next was sticky rice cake with a type of vegetable and bamboo shoots. I’d never had it before, but it was a nice mixture! Then was more super strong alcohol before we headed back out!
Next was a Sichuan spot. I could smell the pepper before I got there. We started with the rabbit head. You have to pull the jaws apart. It still contains the eyes and the brains!
You wear gloves to eat it. I broke the jaw and went with the tongue first. It was crunchy and a little spicy. Then I went for the cheeks. It was so good! It numbs your lips and tongue. The eyes were an explosion of flavor. It was almost like eating wings. This was real spice!
Beer was next, followed by Sichuan wontons and dry noodle with peanuts, pickled vegetables, and minced pork. The wontons contained some spice but wasn’t too spicy. I could feel the heat on my lips and reminded me of the dry ramen I’d had in Japan.
Then was green powder, which is a spice that’s found in Sichuan food. It’s fragrant, and then you take a pinch and put it in your mouth. It’s called the numbing spice. It made my tongue and lips go numb!
Finally, we went to a Shanxi-style diner. We got Chinese asparagus lettuce, which is crunchy and refreshing. Then was the xiaolongbao, a type of soup dumpling. There’s hot soup inside. Li taught me how to eat it without burning my mouth. I slurped the soup and dipped it in the vinegar. It was fantastic! I finished up with the butter fried pastry, which was sweet and crispy and very buttery!
What a diverse food tour! I hope you enjoyed coming along on my multi-regional UnTour Food Tour in Shanghai! If you did, please give it a thumbs up and leave me a comment below. Subscribe to my channel!

DENIED entry to a Chinese BEACH without my PASSPORT!?!
Real name registrations? Passport or ID card, Pre bookings and X-ray machines to go to the beach?
I wanted to show you all how to take the bus in Shenzhen, and decided to go to China's most popular beach only to be told that I need my passport and a reservation to access the beach!
Shenzhen Tong (Chinese: 深圳通) is a contactless smartcard system used for electronic payments in public transportation and some other areas in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, People's Republic of China. It was developed by Shenzhen Modern Computer, the provider of automatic fare collection systems to Shenzhen Metro, with cooperation from Octopus Cards Limited, the operator of Hong Kong's Octopus cards system. It was first adopted by minibuses in Shenzhen, until the new system was introduced by Shenzhen Metro. The English name was originally TransCard.
Starting from January 18, 2006, Shenzhen Tong was gradually accepted by public buses to replace the old IC card system by Shenzhen Bus. All routes operated by Shenzhen Bus Group, Shenzhen Eastern Bus, Shenzhen Western Bus and most other private buses operators accept Shenzhen Tong cards.
Infineon Technologies announced it has won a contract to be the sole supplier of contactless microprocessor chips for Shenzhen Tong cards. Issuance unit volume of these cards is expected to exceed three million by the end of 2008.
Shenzhen Tong card can be purchased for RMB20 (Sale Version Card) deposit. A combined Shenzhen Tong and Hong Kong Octopus card is available, called the Hu Tong Xing, with RMB & HKD in different purses.
