Whale Watching from Plettenberg Bay, South Africa
No holiday to the Cape of South Africa would be complete without some whale-watching. Plettenberg Bay in the Western Cape offers boat trips from its beach out into the calmer waters of its bay to look for them. There are also dolphins to be seen, as well as the beautiful forested coastline.

Adventure Land - Best Fun Ever - Plettenberg Bay - South Africa
Adventure Land between Knysna and Plettenberg Bay is a must visit when you are visiting the Garden Route in South Africa. Great fun for kids and adults - with water slides that is so scary it will make your heart skip a beat. What a great end to 2018!

Plettenberg Bay is 500km from Cape Town and surrounded by little touristy towns like George, Knysna, Mosselbaai, Hartenbos and Wilderness.
Plettenberg Bay has a population of 31 000 people and up to 2 million visitors per year.
Plettenberg Bay is a must visit when you are a surfer, or just like nature - There are elephant parks around the corner in Knysna.
Adventure Land is a water park between Knysna and Plettenberg Bay on a 24 hectare property, with a 75m long supertube and a 25m midi supertube for the little ones as well as a kamakazi slide and a stuka 12m high free fall slide - not for the faint hearted.
For the small kids there is a little slide that plunges into a baby pool, plus a play park with swings, trampolines, jungle jym and lots more. If that's not enough then take a quad bike ride on an exciting and scenic 3.5 km route through our forest. Centrally situated along the Garden Route between Plettenberg Bay and Knysna, just 3km from Garden of Eden.

South Africa is such a special place! Really stoked to have run into this massive pod of dolphins whilst hiking the Titsikamma Trail earlier this year. Dolphins in Plettenberg Bay
Albergo for Backpackers went to the beach this afternoon to watch the dolphins. Although the weather was sh..t, the temperature was great. For the last couple of days a huge group of common dolphins has been very active. I guess that the group is about 1000 dolphins, no kidding!!!
The Dolphins always give such good energy. The funny thing on the video is that somewhere there's a little seal playing along.
