IRISH WOOL - Kerry Woollen Mills - SHOPPING - KNITTING | BarbaraNalewko
This is not a sponsored video - but if anyone want to give me a free wool, yarn or even knitting accessories I will not say no to that :)
MY DREAM CAME TRUE!!! I am so happy to announce that I have Irish Wool at home and plenty of it now. This video is for those who are interested how the wool looks like (I just hope that camera shows a bit of their colour - I think it does). You can definitely see that those colours are bright (not too much) but in a good sense. I cannot wait to make something from them.
WHAT I BOUGHT
- white
- scarlet
- petrol
- banana yellow
- lime green (mix)
- salmon (mix)
HOW I AM GOING TO MIX THEM
HERE link to Kerry Woollen Mills website if you like any of these you can buy them here
If you have already made something with these wool, add #knittingilove on instagram and I will see what you have made
Enjoy knitting,
Barbara :)

Excerpt taken from the Hands website:
''HANDS is a unique, multi-award winning series of thirty-seven documentaries on Irish crafts. Made by the renowned filmmaking team, David and Sally Shaw-Smith, it was originally produced for Irish television (RTÉ).
Imbued by a sense of urgency, the Shaw-Smiths travelled the length and breadth of Ireland during the 1970s and ’80s, capturing on film the final years of traditional rural and urban life. These intimate portraits are as much about the life of the individuals as the crafts they practised. The films capture the essence of Irish heritage, creating a unique archive of life in Ireland at the end of the 20th century.''

Come feel our Irish wool!
Many sheep breeds have differently coulored wool, and it feels different, too. Some is very curly!
