Bob from East Island Surfing Adventures took my daughter and I on a Guided surf tour. I knew how to surf but he had boards for rent and knows all the surf spots and what would be good for us... Made it a lot more enjoyable to have an expert with us to match us up with boards and surf spot.

Puerto Rican STREET FOOD at Kiosko Luquillo + El Yunque Rainforest | Luquillo, Puerto Rico
On my third day in San Juan, Puerto Rico in partnership with the Intercontinental San Juan, I headed to explore the El Yunque Rainforest and to eat Puerto Rican street food at Kiosko Luquillo!

We started the day by driving 45 minutes east to visit the El Yunque Rainforest. We saw the Coca Waterfall, Yokahu Tower and the Damas Pool. Each one gives you a completely different experience that are well worth it. If you see a coconut vender, definitely stop and have some coconuts in El Yunque Rainforest!
Next we drove down to the town of Luquillo and visited the Kiosko Luquillo which is a strip of small restaurants next to Luquillo beach, one of the prettiest beaches in Puerto Rico.
We tried a bunch of Puerto Rican street food, like Alcapurrias, Coconut Candy, Blue Crab Empanada, Rellenos de Papa, Carrucho Ceviche and we finished the day off with a 32 oz mojito!
My personal favorite was the Carrucho Ceviche, it was super refreshing and way less filling compared to all the fried foods. I recommend you try all these Puerto Rican street foods and visit El Yunque rainforest when you visit Puerto Rico!

We escaped the hotel and took a catamaran tour to explore the Icacos Islands. Beautiful white sand beaches, green palm trees and crystal clear water awaited us. AMAZING Puerto Rican SEAFOOD + Island Hopping | Fajardo, Puerto Rico
On my fourth day in San Juan, Puerto Rico in partnership with the Intercontinental San Juan, I headed to Fajardo to go Island Hopping with Kayaking Puerto Rico and then we had an amazing Puerto Rican seafood feast!

We started the day by driving 45 minutes east to Fajardo marina. There we met up with Kayaking Puerto Rico and headed out on a 3 hour excursion to visit Icacos Island and Palominito. We went snorkeling and bathing in the sun!
Next we drove down to Las Croabas to eat lunch at Costa Mia restaurant and we ate a huge seafood feast. Seafood cocktail, seafood mofongo, volcano surf and turf and a seafood paella.
To end are day we headed back to the Intercontinental San Juan and visited the club level happy hour and had some drinks!

Luquillo, Puerto Rico From The Air
On this day I flew my drone over beautiful Luquillo, Puerto Rico. Luquillo is situated between the Atlantic coastline and El Yunque National Rainforest. Luquillo Beach is situated here too, which is one the nicest beaches in the area. This town is located about 40 minutes east of San Juan. If you are ever in the area don't forget to stop by.

Culebra island snorkel tour - - I would recommend doing it this way. $89 for travel, drinks, lunch, and equipment is such a great deal compared to doing it on your own.
However on your own is definitely an adventure!

Caribbean Trip - 2015
I traveled to Puerto Rico and the British Virgin Islands with friends.

I met up with Anna in San Juan and then rented a car and went to Arecibo, Rio Camuy, Naguabo, Luquillo, and then flew to Vieques.
|| British Virgin Islands ||
Anna then left and I met up with Kevin, Miguel and Zack for a bareboat sailing charter in the BVIs. We went to Tortola, Norman, Jost Van Dyke, Guana, Marina Cay, Saba Rock, Anegada, the Baths on Virgin Gorda, and Cooper.

During day 5 in Puerto Rico, we decided to go surfing! One of the best experiences ever! SO MUCH FUN!
