Took my boys to the East Midlands Aeropark to see the exhibits, from there you can view the aircraft taking off & landing at East Midlands airport. We had a nice suprise to see a Spitfire take off for 10 minutes but i missed the shot as i was recording the floor and when i was supposed to REC i Paused!!!
I am an airside driver at this airport so it was nice to show my boys where i spend a lot of my time.

PA VIDEO-CNN video of cargo plane on tarmac - night video East Midlands Airport -- Investigators in the United Kingdom found a suspicious device containing a manipulated toner cartridge Thursday night at a distribution center near East Midlands Airport, which is in Diseworth about 100 miles (160 kilometers) north of London. -- The package had white powder all over it, as well as wires and a circuit card attached, law enforcement photographs showed. It tested negative for explosive material and was re-examined again Friday. -- The package arrived on an American-registered cargo plane at East Midlands Airport from Sana, Yemen, Scotland Yard said in a statement. The plane was en route to Chicago, Illinois, via Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. -- Explosive officers were at the airport and checked on the device, Scotland Yard said. Authorities said there was no indication that any locations in the United Kingdom were being targeted. -- The East Midlands Airport and Leicestershire Police confirmed to CNN that the cordon had been lifted at the airport and police had left the area. Our room at the East Midlands Hilton Hotel
Clubroom 355 - imagine getting back to this room after a few drinks. It remained unfixed for our 2 night stay - they also put us in a smoking room which actually smelt like a working man's club in the 70's - the towels, the bed, everything smelt stale and so did you if you were in there for more than 10 seconds. And I thought Paris was the worst Hilton.
