Egypt - Scuba Diving in the Red Sea
Blessed with warm, clear water and abundant marine life, it’s not surprising that #Egypt ’s Red Sea has long been considered one of the world’s top scuba diving destinations. A wealth of different liveaboard and land-based package deals make it easy to plan your vacation; while the diversity of the Red Sea's reefs means that there’s something for everyone - whether you’re interested in bucket list megafauna or hard-to-find macro species.
Ranging from the wreck-littered north to the more remote south, Sharm El Sheikh, #Hurghada and Marsa Alam are three of the region’s most iconic dive spots. Wherever you decide to go, here are five of the many reasons to choose the #RedSea as your next dive destination.

Healthy Coral Reefs in the Red Sea - Egypt
Scuba Diving the Red Sea in Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt! Dive sites are the White Knight and Ras Nasrani. The reefs were very healthy since there hasn't been much tourism in Egypt. We swam through a large crevice, a small cave, and over a reef wall with a seemingly endless bottom. There were many colorful, playful fish who were easily excited by divers.
All footage was shot on the GoPro Hero 4.

5 Days in Sharm
A Short video to showcase the diversity and flourishing marine life in and around Sharm el Sheikh in the Red Sea. Tourism has vastly declined in the Red Sea this year since many countries are still not flying direct to places like Sharm el Sheikh. From my recent trip to the area I have never felt more safe. Security has improved drastically and despite not many direct flights from Europe, it is still very easy to reach. The steep decline in divers to places like Sharm el Shekih this year means that currently many of the area's most popular and spectacular dive sites are void of other divers. Despite the negative impacts of low tourist numbers to Egypt it does make for some fantastic diving. All the footage shot in this video was shot during the course of just 5 consecutive days diving in August 2016. Few other places can offer such a range of marine life in such a small number of days.
I dived with Camel Dive Club and Hotel who I used to work for. Naturally I am biased but the facts are that Camel Dive Club was one of the very first dive clubs in Sharm el Sheikh. From humble beginnings the dive centre has flourished over the course of 20 + years and now includes a fantastically chilled and relaxed hotel with fresh water swimming pool, 2 amazing restaurants, one of the best bars in Sharm including a rooftop terrace and even an ice-cream parlor! The dive club itself is a 5 star PADI IDC center and has won multiple DIVER Dive center of the year awards. The facts really do speak for themselves.
If you are a diver (or not and want to start diving and see marine life like in this video) then Camel Dive Club and Hotel really is one of the best places you can go.
