EPA's Echo Bay, BC in X Plane
Echo Bay in the Simoom Sound region of BC's coast, on the north coast of Gilford Island and accessed from Johnstone Strait (a part of the Inside Passage), has a long and storied history involving logging and commercial fishing. A forest ranger station was the primary focus.
These days, 2 resorts and a small community flourish, hosting tourists from all over the world to the area and the local Echo Bay Marine Provincial Park.
This location has been augmented for the X-Plane scenery by an official EPOCH Passage Aviation presence, complete with buildings, dock facilities and ambience.

Great BC Beaches Sidney Spit
Sidney Spit Marine Park is part of Sidney Island, which is part of the Gulf Island archipelago between Vancouver Island, BC and the mainland. Sidney Spit Marine Park features some amazing hikes and beaches, and some camping and picnicking spots. The tap water in the park is slightly saline and needs to be boiled, so you likely want to bring some drinking water with you. Rumor has it that the water has just the right amount of salt in it to boil up really good pasta.
The Sidney Spit Ferry goes between the town of Sydney, BC and Sidney Island in the warmer months of the year.
There used to be a brick factory on Sidney Island, which explains all the bricks on the one beach, and the stacks of bricks that hikers have piled up here and there.
