Coventry Cycling Olympian A.J. Stokes - Display at Coventry Transport Museum
This report was made by Mark Gough of ITV1 Central News in August 2012, about Coventry Cycling Olympian A.J. Stokes, who was a member of the British Olympic Cycling Team at the 1912 Summer Olympic Games in Stockholm.
Arthur Stokes' granddaughter -- Marion Richardson, kindly loaned her Grandfather's Olympic Team GB cycling jersey, his Olympic medals and photographs of the team including A.J. Stokes. The frame of his Olympic bike from 1912 is part of Coventry Transport Museum's Cyclopedia Collection and is also featured in the Museum's Summer 2012 Exhibition entitled 'Pedals to Medals'.

This was a great museum to visit and it was the only time I had been there, shame it was having to close on this very day.
COVENTRY ELECTRIC
Coventry has received £80m to be the centre of battery manufacturing for electric vehicles.
The city was once the home of Rover, the British Motor Corporation and many more car manufacturers, so what does future investment mean for the city?
