There’s so much to see on this very full 6-day safari. The 4 national parks you’ll visit will impress with their incredible wildlife diversity. And the range of scenery greeting you every day will complete an unforgettable holiday. Should you desire, there’s even room to visit a 5th national park!
We’ve come up with every kind of safari on this tour of Kenya’s best. Of course, there will be many game drives throughout the journey, but you’ll also take in the varied wildlife on a water safari, a guided walking safari and, if you wish, a bicycle safari. Now that’s something you won’t see anywhere else!
Your safari begins at Amboseli National Park. With its views of stunning Mt. Kilimanjaro, the park’s big game of lion, elephant, buffalo and hippo are all yours to explore. The multiple game drives here will bring you in the vicinity of impala, giraffe, wildebeest and possibly cheetah.
Moving on to the great Rift Valley, you’ll enter Lake Naivasha. Here you’ll take a water safari, sailing past hippos and enjoying views of the abundant birdlife populating this freshwater lake. Look out for the giraffe and zebra on the nearby shore.
Then, at nearby Crescent Island, you’ll be treated to a guided walking safari. Casually hike by impala, giraffe, zebra and other small game as they graze.
If you wish you may take an optional bicycle safari at Hell’s Gate National Park,. Have fun pedaling by the grazing gazelle, antelope and giraffe. This is definitely a story you can take back home!
Then we’re off to Lake Nakuru National Park where we’ll encounter black & white rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffe, hippo, and look out for lions and leopards. This is a beautiful park adorned with swaths of acacia trees. There is plentiful birdlife here as well. And sightings of flamingos are not uncommon. So get your camera ready!
The big finale of your adventure tour is at the king of safari destinations – the Masai Mara. The world-famous Mara is rich with a vast display of wildlife. You’ll enjoy numerous game drives during your days here to view the Big Five as well as smaller game.
The Mara is a stunning eco-system with its vast savannah, accented with acacia trees. If you wish, as a special addition, you can arrange with your guide to visit a Masai village and meet the people still living their traditional lifestyle. What a fitting end to your 6 days of new adventures in East Africa.
All-Inclusive – Your 6-Day safari includes park entrance fees, accommodations and meals. Natural World Safaris always offers a wide choice of accommodations. Depending on your budget and style choose from economy, comfort or luxury safari lodges or tented camps.

2. SOUNDBITE (English) Edwin Lusichi, Project Manager and Head Keeper at the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust:
I want to believe this (Trump's visit) is going to make a big change, in general in terms of conservation and wildlife in Kenya, and on the trade in ivory I believe it will make a change because people need to know that the tusks don't drop off from an elephant, people kill the elephants to get the tusks. So people should stop trading in ivory. Those people that are buying anything that is associated with ivory and rhino horn should stop it with immediate effect, because that endangers all the animals and if we are not very careful we will end up losing all these animals. I believe her interaction (Trump's), her coming here will create a lot of publicity to the elephants in general and people will know that these elephants have a right to life and need to be protected.

STORYLINE:
Melania Trump has visited a national park in Kenya to highlight animal conservation efforts.
The U.S. first lady arrived at Nairobi National Park on Friday to learn about steps the east African nation is taking to conserve elephants and rhinos.
During her visit, an interraction between two elephant babies bumped into Trump, who had to be supported by her body guard to prevent her from family.
Trump later visited children at an orphanage and took in a children's performance later Friday at Nairobi National Theater.
She is on her first-ever visit to Africa and her first extended solo international trip as first lady.
Trump opened the trip Tuesday in Ghana and visited Malawi on Thursday.
Egypt is the final stop on a four-nation tour of the continent to highlight child welfare, education and tourism and conservation.

Kenya Safari Part II - Fantastic wildlife of Nakuru, Samburu and Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Photography by Valji Varia
natural-variation.com
Lake Nakuru National Park The most diverse of the Rift Valley soda lakes and host to vast numbers of fuchsia pink flamingo attracted to the abundance of algae, which thrives in the warm shallow waters. The alkaline lake is also home to a further 400 resident bird species. Nakuru means “dust” in Masai and the lake recedes during the dry season and floods during the wet season. Open savannah areas and dense woodland surround the lake and act as a sanctuary to protect the endangered black rhino.
Wildlife highlights: Lesser & greater flamingo, white & black rhino, leopard, Rothschild’s giraffe
Samburu National Park Located on the banks of the Ewaso Ng’iro river, this 165km2 reserve consists of doum palm groves and thick riverine forests within an arid landscape. It was the location in which Elsa the lioness was raised by the Adamson’s and more recently made famous by Kamanuyak, a lioness which adopted oryx calves. The Koitogor and Ololokwe mountains stand proud amongst the thorn trees and grassland vegetation which support several species unique to the region and over 350 types of bird.
Wildlife highlights: Leopard, gerenuk, Grevy’s zebra, Beisa oryx, reticulated giraffe, Nile crocodile, lion, elephant
Ol Pejeta Conservancy Situated on the equator between the foothills of the Aberdares and Mount Kenya, this 360km2 conservancy provides sanctuary for great apes, highly endangered black rhino and the critically endangered northern white rhino. Conservation of such species represents a major part of Sweetwaters mission and philosophy and specially constructed game corridors allow free movement of animals throughout the conservancy. Nocturnal mammals may also be witnessed in the excellent night drives conducted in the park.
Wildlife highlights: Rhino, chimpanzee, lion

Stedmak Gardens Snake Park | Pre/Post Safari Activity | Nairobi, Kenya
I took a look at the snake park in Stedmak Gardens to see if it was worth a visit when you have time to spare in Nairobi before or after a Kenyan Safari
I think yes the snake park is well worth a visit education around snakes is very important both for overseas visitors and locals. The wildlife and bird park is not really necessary in a city that has its own National Park.
The snake park is a guided tour with a knowledgeable guide who can tell you all you want to know about snakes, it includes interaction with a python which can help people overcome fears.
So yes visit and learn about the snakes, skip the animals and birds if you are not into seeing captive animals and go for lunch at the floating restaurant!
Visitors to Zebra Plains Collection camps can enquire about a trip to the snake park at Stedmak Gardens when booking their safari, alternatively it is just a short taxi ride from the two Nairobi airports or city accommodation.
To book with Zebra Plains Collection you can contact reservations@zebraplainsmara.com or call +254776965290 / +254790789122

Rob The Ranger is a proudly South African YouTuber
The purpose of the Rob The Ranger Wildlife Videos YouTube channel is to show what it is like to experience seeing wild animals on an African safari. Nature Documentaries are often highly edited to tell a story, wildlife safaris are not, and the idea here is to show the wildlife sightings the way they were seen. Safari tours in Africa are generally suitable for all ages and this channel can be considered an educational channel about incredible nature, some scenes in the nature videos may be more graphic than people are used to but this is the reality of nature and is what you would see if you were present on such a safari in person. Safaris in Kenya, South Africa, or any other African country are an unrivalled experience for anyone with a passion for nature, wildlife photography, and travel. Hopefully the animal videos on this channel can provide a glimpse into what the nature experience is like and encourage more people to take a wildlife safari one day.

Africa Outdoors: Mighty Elephant Hill hike
#TembeaKenya na #AfricaOutdoorsSafaris
The Elephant Hill on the southern end of the Aberdares Ranges, about 90km north of Nairobi, is an ideal location for a day hike especially if you’re preparing for the more challenging Mt Kenya or Mt Kilimanjaro climbs. The Aberdares Ranges are situated west of Mt Kenya in the central highlands between Nyeri and Naivasha, and stretch 70km long from North to South. They are the water catchment area feeding two of the largest dams supplying over 95% of Nairobi’s water needs, i.e. Ndakaini Dam in the Thika region and Sasumua Dam near Njabini town.
