Ellesmere Port is a large town and port in Cheshire, England, south of the Wirral. As well as a service sector economy, the town of Ellesmere Port has retained large industries including Stanlow oil refinery, a chemical works and the Vauxhall Motors car factory. There are also a number of tourist attractions: the National Waterways Museum, the Blue Planet Aquarium and Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet.
The town of Ellesmere Port was founded at the outlet of the never completed Ellesmere Canal. The canal now renamed was designed and engineered by William Jessop and Thomas Telford as part of a project to connect the rivers Severn, Mersey and Dee. Ellesmere Port, in more recent times has had an influx of Liverpool immigrants.
Since 1974 Ellesmere Port has been an unparished area when the civil parish of Ellesmere Port was abolished and all its functions assumed by the town. Ellesmere Port is located in the county of Cheshire.

Ellesmere Port is located near the interchange of the M56 and the M53 motorways. The A41 road between Birkenhead and Chester, also passes through the area. Ellesmere Port railway station has a half-hourly electric train service to Chester and Liverpool. The Manchester Ship Canal joins the Mersey estuary north-west of Ellesmere Port at Eastham.

Port Life is a look at how Britain has become but has a comical take on its day to day problems and issues. The focus point is based around the most elaborate characters. Barbra is a stay at home mum without actually having any children! She met her beloved Michael whilst holidaying in the most romantic place on earth (Benidorm) in 2008 and moved straight away to his home town. Michael is an out of work middle aged male who struggles with day to day tasks due to the fact he suffers from a mild turrets. This sketch follows the lifes of a young couple trying to make their way through the world of a council estate in Nort West England.
The sketch is filmed in a documentary style with the odd question being given by steve the camera man.

Man j.ailed for exposing himself to children at swimming pools.
A dad of two has been jailed after he touched his penis in front of children while he was with his son at swimming pools.
Pervert Derek Robert O’Neill exposed himself to schoolgirls aged 10, 11 and 12 at public pools in Chester and Ellesmere Port.
Chester Crown Court heard O’Neill, 40, of Brassey Street, Birkenhead, exposed and touched himself in front of 10 young female victims while he was with his son.
The five offences took place at Chester’s Northgate Arena, the Ellesmere Port Sports Village and the Epic leisure centre between 2014 and 2017.

Please supply your name, age & educational institution - you must be in full time education... or under 25 years old to be eligible for the Festival prizes. There is a panel of judges made up of industry professionals (including the film making son of the director of Return of the Jedi & a writer for Bob the Builder!!!!!!!!). Awards will be given to best in each category, aswell as an overall grand prix.

BBTV - - Rising super-welterweight prospect Mason 'Nutty' Cartwright (11-0-1, 4KOs) from Ellesmere Port in the Wirral, talks to us about how he got into boxing as a kid after he walked into the Wirral CP Boxing Club and got the bug. This is where he met Macca the head coach and friend and guardian to him ever since and the man who named him 'Nutty'
Unbeaten in 12 fights Mason is on the verge of major domestic title fights after just winning the International Challenge belt in his last contest.
Mason speaks about his career to date, takes us on a tour of his gym, introduces us to Macca and we go on a car journey around the area he grew up.
