What To Do In Vancouver - Stanley Park Seawall & Mobi Bike Rental
Stanley Park is a 400-hectare natural West Coast rainforest in the middle of the city of Vancouver. The sea all that extends for about 30 kilometers (19 mi) around Stanley Park and is a lovely path to walk or ride bicycles.
We take you from Devonian Harbor Park all the way around Stanley Park seawall to English Bay beach and back into the city of Vancouver. We pass by the Stanley Park totem poles, girl in a wet suit, past Siwash Rock and even visit Second beach and Third beach while walking most of the trail.
Even though we walked most of the seawall we also rented bicycles from the Mobi bike rental stations that you can find everywhere throughout Vancouver.
The walking tour around Stanley Park took us about 4 hours but we took a ton of photos of all the wildlife and beautiful sights throughout the park and we also opted out of taking the Mobi bikes all the way around the park because it would then cost us extra for the bike rental.

Vancouver, British Columbia - English Bay Bike Ride HD (2014)
English Bay is located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, west of the downtown peninsula, which separates the bay from Burrard Inlet connecting to the northwest, and False Creek to the southeast. Point Grey on the south and Point Atkinson on the north form the bay's entrance from the Strait of Georgia.
English Bay Beach, near the city's West End residential neighbourhood, is the most popular sunbathing, swimming, and sunset-watching beach in the downtown Vancouver area. Other downtown beaches facing English Bay include Sunset Beach, Second Beach, and Third Beach. Along the south shore of the bay lie Kitsilano Beach, Jericho Beach, the Spanish Banks beaches, and Locarno Beach, while on the North Shore are Ambleside Beach and various smaller cove-beaches in the city of West Vancouver. English Bay beaches are all major tourist attraction to visitors all year long, with the peak season being late summer.
The Vancouver Seawall runs all the way around English Bay from Stanley Park in the northeast around False Creek at Point Grey facing the Strait of Georgia in the southwest. This is a favourite destination for walkers, runners, bicyclists, and roller-bladers. (Note: the Seawall is one-way for cyclists and roller-bladers, running counter-clockwise from just east of Lions Gate Bridge to Third Beach.)
English Bay Beach is host to a number of public events. The Celebration of Light is a fireworks competition that is held for two weeks every summer (usually the last week in July and first week in August). While this competition often struggles to secure funding, it has successfully run since 1997 and is the largest off-shore fireworks display in the world.[citation needed] Each winter it is the host of Vancouvers' annual Polar Bear Swim and each summer the Vancouver Pride Parade and Festival is held on English Bay Beach.
In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, English Bay Beach was home to Vancouver's first official lifeguard, the legendary Joe Fortes, who taught hundreds of the city's early residents how to swim, and patrolled the beach from his cabin on its shore. Today, the waters of the bay are often dotted with hundreds of small pleasure boats, as well as huge freighters waiting at anchor to load cargoes at Vancouver's port.

STANLEY PARK - “THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PARK IN VANCOUVER”
STANLEY PARK - “THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PARK IN VANCOUVER”
As it's the beginning of summer - we decided to get the most out of the sunshine and ventured to the most beautiful park in Vancouver - Stanley Park. WHAT AN ADVENTURE! Greenery, stunning views, singing birds, sangria and the best company!
We hope that you still enjoy watching us eat PAD THAI, because you know what? That is still our still favourite dish since our Thailand adventures back in 2016 and you will be seeing us eating a lot more since ASIAN cuisine here in Vancouver is booming.
We also went to Vancouver's 'gayborhood' - DAVIE Street where we enjoyed Persian beer with honey !
We had an amazing day and we hope that you had an amazing time watching this vlog!

KITSILANO...THE MOST POPULAR BEACH IN VANCOUVER ????
KITSILANO...THE MOST POPULAR BEACH IN VANCOUVER
The most popular beach... is not our words but the words uttered by many tourists and locals that travel to this beach (around 20 mins from Downtown).
Maybe it's the city views, the fact that you can admire Stanley Park and ice capped mountains from a distance. Or the general relaxed atmosphere that you get from this beach. However if you do want an element of danger, feel free to bring your whip...

Our Adventures in Vancouver, B.C. Canada - August 2017
We start our adventure riding the Amtrak Cascades from King Street Station to Vancouver, B.C., then hop on board a sailboat in Stamps Landing Harbour for a 3 hour sail in English Bay before winding up at Mahony and Sons for an after sail drink. We find the Lord Stanley Suites right next to Stanley Park and walk to dinner at Cardero's in Coal Harbour. Day two starts off with breakfast at Joe's followed by renting bikes and exploring the seawall in Stanley Park. I go exploring statues in Stanley Park after our bike ride and then we wrap up the day having cocktails at Lift Bar and Grill and Dinner at Cactus Club Cafe.

The scenery along the sea wall is like none other. Lot's of families, and bicyclists along the trail with a spectacular view of the city.
You can rent a bike and have a great day at the park.
It is more like a forest then a park.
Most of the people walk and bike at the waters edge, but there are many pats that cross the park and you can forget that you are in the city.
So next time visiting Vancouver go to Stanley Park, rent a bike explore the park and the neighborhood.
We are busy traveling the world, retired with a home base in Bulgaria which is so far is a well kept retirement secret.

Biking In Downtown Vancouver Canada
Downtown is known for a buzzing nightlife scene on neon-lit Granville Street, with raucous bars, clubs, and live bands at the art deco Commodore Ballroom. By day, it’s a busy shopping hub of chain and luxury boutiques, plus high-end department stores in the CF Pacific Centre mall. Food trucks and casual lunch spots dot the area, and cruise liners depart from Canada Place, a terminal designed to look like a ship
