Inalco Bariloche
Inalco Bariloche This is the house were probably - { personally I do not belive on this version } Hitler spent the last years of his life, a remote mansion similar to the infamous Berghof located in the Nahuel Huapi Lake, in Patagonia, Argentina, a remote mountainous paradise full of Nazi refugees.
That's what the conspiracy theorist say, anyway.
The mansion—called residencia Inalco—is now for sale after going through a few owners starting with Enrique García Merou, a Buenos Aires lawyer linked to several German-owned companies that allegedly collaborated in the escape to Argentina of high Nazi party members and SS officials.
He bought the lot from architect Alejandro Bustillo, who created the original plans of the house in March 1943. Bustillo also built other houses for Nazi fugitives who were later aprehended in the area. The terrain in which the house was erected, on Bajia Istana near the little town of Villa La Angostura, was quite remote and hardly accessible at the time. You can check the lot out in Google Maps.
The plans are similar to the architecture of Hitler's refuge in the Alps, with bedrooms connected by bathrooms and walk-in closets and a tea house located by a small farm.
Like Berghof, the Inalco house could only have been observed from the lake—a forest on the back limited the view from land. It even had Swiss cows imported by Merou from Europe.
Later, Merou sold the house to Jorge Antonio, who was connected to the President Perón and was the German representative of Mercedes Benz in the south american country.

Entry Title: Hotel Review: Posada Los Juncos
Entry:
Posada Los Juncos Los Juncos is in a quiet location facing Lake Nahuel Huapi in western suburban Bariloche. It is located at km 20 Avenue Bustillo, on the Circuito Chico, an especially beautiful area. Los Juncos has the atmosphere of a private home. As you turn up the steep driveway, you first see Los Juncos surrounded by flowers and gardens. When we arrived, a guest is sitting in the wood gazebo in the garden reading with a glass of wine by her side. Our first impression is that this is a low key, relaxing place! We walk in the front door and enter the great room filled with comfy couches, a bar and dining area. Flavia greets us warmly and we immediately feel welcome! Flavia speaks English fluently so we chat about the world, about life, and also about the possibilities for touring in the area. She provides us with a detailed driving map of the Circuito Chico and highlights a few walks. We are set for the afternoon! The bedrooms are upstairs and are eclectically furnished with the feel of an Italian country period. We open our curtains and see a large monkey puzzle tree just outside our window and the view beyond of Lago Nahuel Huapi! How good is that? Beside our bed are bottles of water and pieces of chocolate. We get a really good nights sleep! Just a comment about the bathroom in our room; if you expect a modern American style bathroom, then Los Juncos might not be for you. We have one of the best meat dinners of our entire trip here at Los Juncos. Not only is the ambience of the candlelit table and low key music special, Gaby, the Chef, shows his talent by using excellent high quality & fresh ingredients, creating flavorful dishes. Flavia chose our wine and it was excellent! The continental breakfast at Los Juncos is a buffet and we are pleasantly surprised to find fresh squeezed orange juice (such a treat!), an assortment of breads, fresh sliced fruit, granola and cereal, all beautifully displayed. The housekeeper is very friendly and fills a giant cup with coffee and warm milk. The sun is streaming in and we gaze out at the lake. Los Juncos just feels so homey and comfortable. We're happy. You can get a feel for Los Juncos from our photos!
