Gentry Morris & Stephen Macartney - Wake O Sleeper
Born in the USA, Gentry Morris spent several years touring The States and after a 4 year stint in Nashville he pulled up roots and relocated to Bangor, Northern Ireland.
Morris has spent the past 6 years making a name for himself in the songwriting circles of Northern Ireland. He has shared the stage with national talents like Fionn Regan, Frightened Rabbit, The Coronas, Iain Archer, The 4 of Us and Juliet Turner who also lends vocals to his 2010 release. He has also shared the state with local legends like Gareth Dunlop, Farriers, Matt McGinn, Ben Glover, and Anthony Toner.
AWAKE 'O' SLEEPER is an acoustic masterpiece. Stunningly self produced and captures acoustic instrumentation to the full, leaving you with glowing lush sounds, which blends with Gentry’s vocals and the guest vocalists on the album. (including Juliet Turner). - File Under Good Music

Mike Donaghy & Border Crossing Fund It Campaign
We are a Celtic/Americana band from Co.Down in Northern Ireland called Mike Donaghy & Border Crossing. We are all well established players in our field and myself (Mike) being an award wining guitarist and songwriter.
We have just released our second album 'No one can hear me', and album full of stories of home, self discovery, immigration and travel. Our genre has been described as 'Irish folk music rolled in American soil, dipped in a pot of country' (Warner music).
The main members are Mike Donaghy, Andrew Dorrian and Brian McClean. We have toured Ireland and played festivals and tours in Europe. We have also toured and shared stages with the likes of Brian Kennedy, Sands Family, Paul Brady and Finbar Furey.
We have worked very hard to share our music around the world and are proud to say that we have been personally invited to showcase our music and album to industry professionals in a series of venues Kansas City, Memphis and Nashville in early 2014. It's such an honour to receive this invite, and in some cases unheard of for small Irish bands. This is a huge opportunity for us to share our music in the United States and a chance to pitch our music to renowned producers, record companies and agents and help is in the advancement of our careers. We will be performing countless times over a period of 14 days in February in folk clubs, hotels and theatres. This is an opportunity we just cannot miss out on. This could be a fine chance to receive the record deal we all desire
Unfortunately the cost to make this happen far outweighs any fee that we can command at this stage in our careers. Our flights will cost £1600 alone, and accommodation for 12 days will reach £1300. We will also have travel between towns and cities and car rental that will be £500. We will have our CD printing fees on top of this as well. We are very happy to travel and perform without taking a fee ourselves but we would much rather not return to a huge debt as it's hard enough making a living as a musician as it is.
We graciously look for your assistance and support in this this career enhancing opportunity. This is the chance of a lifetime, especially with are new album just being released.
We are hard working, determined, fun, and we will keep you updated during our travels.
Many thanks for your support
Mike, Andrew, Brian

Rope Bridge Adventure in Northern Ireland
Check out the wild Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge on Northern Ireland's Antrim coast!
Salmon fishermen first built a rope bridge here in the 18th century, to help them net the fish. It's one of Ireland's most spectacular locations – part of a fantastic coastal walking trail – and if you're lucky you'll see dolphins, porpoises and even basking sharks. It's an amazing place, looked after by the National Trust – and really close to the Giant's Causeway, so you can see both places on the same trip.
