Feather Falls
Feather Falls..One of the most beautiful falls in Butte County. It is located on the Fall River tributary of the Middle Fork Feather River, within the Plumas National Forest in the Sierra Nevada mountain range in Butte County, eastern California. The hike round trip is about 4 hours of hiking. It's not super hard nor super easy. If you take the right trail, you will hike with ease. But if you like the incline, when you hike back take the lower trail which will gives you a good amount of work out. My fiancé and I enjoyed it. Wouldn't mind do it again. Enjoy the video!
Feather Falls Trail, February 11, 2017 (After Major Rains)
Feather falls, after Major Rains. This was just after Lake Oroville Filled to the 100% mark. A number of steams were flowing in the trail. Feather Falls was rather impressive after all of the rains. Enjoy.
FEATHER FALLS - 2017
Feather Falls is one of the most beautiful water falls and tallest fall in the United States located in Northern California. It's a 9 mile hike round trip, but it can be challenging for some. Overall it's a beautiful hike and one that you should add on your hiking bucket list. Enjoy the video!

Phantom Falls (4K)- California Waterfalls - Oroville CA, Table Mountain, day hike -2018
Jan. 2018 - This is my day hike to Phantom Falls, Beatson Falls, Ravine Falls, and Hollow Falls at North Table Mountain Ecological Preserve in Oroville California - Waterfalls. It was a beautiful and fun 8.5 mile round trip hike. There are over 20 waterfalls on North Table Mountain in the winter, and in the spring the wildflowers are abundantly gorgeous. I think this is my best video yet. Please check it out!
=====================================
The North Table Mountain Ecological Reserve is a nature reserve of 3,315 acres (13.42 km2) located three miles (5 km) north of Oroville, in Butte County, northern California. The land was acquired by the state in October, 1993.
The reserve protects and preserves the rare Northern Basalt Flow Vernal Pools, a vernal pools habitat type that supports sensitive plants and animals that are either locally endemic, or endemic to California. The Northern Basalt Flow Vernal Pools habitat is found in only four localities within the state.
Time and erosion have split the volcanic plateau of Table Mountain into two sections, north and south. There are smaller ravines as well that support various types of trees and woodlands. The top expanse has grasslands with lichen-covered rocks. The winter/spring rains recharge the vernal pools and create waterfalls and wildflower displays.

Codfish Falls | Sierra Foothill Trail
Off Interstate 80 near the small town of Weimar. The American River cuts through beautiful canyons as it meanders over a cobblestone river bottom.
A mellow 1.5 mile hike takes you along this beautiful stretch of the North Fork of the American River to Codfish Creek. The trail then turns along the creek for a short jaunt up to Codfish Falls, a pretty cascade that flows down the rocky terrain, approximately 65 feet high.
Phantom Falls - Oroville, CA
Shot with a DJI Spark on April 28th 2019 at Phantom Falls near Oroville, CA.
The falls are seasonal. I probably caught them near the end of the season.
I was able go the week before so I could catch some of the wild flowers but I ended up getting caught in a thunderstorm on my second battery and had to hike back in the rain. Unfortunately by the time I was able to go back the next weekend the flowers were gone and the grass had begun to dry out. Even so, the landscape is beautiful.
Hope you all enjoy

Lake Oroville California floating campsite #8 June 2019 - HD 4k drone video
We stayed at this floating campsite in August 2018 when there was smoke from the wildfires. Even with the smoke and low water it was very nice. In June 2019 with the lake full and clear skies It was very relaxing which is what we were looking for. The park service maintains the campsites very well which added to the great experience. There is nothing like having a campsite literally right on the water. The lake was calm during our stay which added to the tranquility of the site.

North Table Mountain Wildflower aerial tour Oroville March 2019 CA - HD 4k drone video
View of Phantom Falls begins at 2:52 Look for the rainbow in the waterfall at 3:03
I captured this video while looking for wildflowers in March 2019. It was a nice spring day with an interesting sky and a gentle breeze. In early spring this is a very beautiful place to view wildflowers and waterfalls. This is a good flyover tour of North Table Mountain Ecological Reserve.
Other drone videos of North Table Mountain Ecological Reserve:
I shot about an hour’s worth of video around the top of this mountain. If you are interested in any of the raw footage let me know.

Cascade Falls (4K)- NEW DISCOVERY! California Waterfalls, Oroville, Paradise, Plumas National Forest
December 2018. Another wet and wild day in Northern California. The waterfall madman was out to make a brand new waterfall discovery in Plumas National Forest, near Oroville / Paradise California. I was 95% sure there was a waterfall on this creek, but no one else has ever been there and documented it before now. It was exciting, but it was also very wet!

Waterfall at Feather Falls California
Hiked up to Feather Falls near Oroville, California 8 May 2011. Trail is fairly steep in some places, 7-9 miles depending on which route you take. Several smaller falls/rapids viewable on the trails...pretty impressive sight.

Bear Ranch Falls | 80 ft. Waterfall | Plumas National Forest | Abandoned Mining Adits | Highway 70
Continuing our tour of NorCal waterfalls. Our family takes a drive down the Feather River Canyon and walks to a massive waterfall. We are able to get really close to the base of it, the wind and mist and the power of it all were very impressive. We get creeped out by some old mining adits on the way in especially since the waterfall and creek are literally named after bears. We'd love to hear about your trip if you have been here!
