Best way to Experience the Sahara Desert | Camping in Merzouga, Morocco
The final Morocco vlog is here! Camping in the Sahara Desert at a spot called Merzouga.
Here we rode camels to our remote campsite, spent the night eating Moroccan food and listening to music played by the locals.
In the morning we made our way back to our new campsite by camel ride before jumping into some Jeeps to go on Safari.
To end it all a big long 13 hour bus ride to Marrakesh so we can finally show you what staying in a Riad is like.
Next stop: Flying home to surprise Jess's brother for Christmas!

Passing through magical Cities as: Ifran (1,650m). Ifran, singular “Ifri”, is the Tamazight Berber word for grottos,a nice town that wasbuilt by the French in 1930. From there we go to Azrou, which in the local Tamazight Berber dialect means “rock,” a Berber village in the middle of the famous cedar forest - the largest in Morocco,where you have an opportunity to take photos for apes in wild. keep on along the luxuriant Ziz Valley,and arrest for panoramic views along the way. We will go through the welcoming Berber villages to Erfoud, and then Rissani, On your arrival in Merzouga, you will have a hot shower or dip in the swimming pool (depending on the weather)A fter that,you will go for a ride a camel trek at sunset for 1:30 to see the seemingly endless desert, your journey ends in Berber camp in the heart of errg chebi dunes, with dinner at a campsite under desert sky.Day 2 : Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Rose City – Sakoura – Ouarzazate. Driving from Fes to Merzouga by car has to be one of the most scenic drives in the world. The drive will take you from Fes, Morocco's cultural capital to Merzouga, Morocco's desert sand dunes. Taking the road by car will save you time and will allow you take in the scenery at your own pace.
The drive from Fes to Merzouga has to be one of the most scenic drives in the world. According to Google Maps it takes 7 hours solid. However, with the regular breaks and sight seeing plan at least one full day, leaving Fes early in the morning.
