So I got inspired earlier on today by a fellow sUAS pilot. Grabbed the charger got busy charging up the Mavic and took a trip to Milton in Derbyshire.

Ticknall Scarecrow Trail - July 3rd 2011, Completely mad but totally British.

Best viewed Full Screen. Hundreds of people took to the streets of Ticknall in search of scarecrows over the weekend of 2nd and 3rd July.
The Scarecrows were all over the place, did you find them all?

This is a video of the annual Ticknall Scarecrow Trail. This video is made from photographs I took on Sunday 3rd July 2011.
Ticknall is a village in Derbyshire, this scarecrow trail is an annual even that raises money for charity.
This year the money was raised for The British Lung Foundation, The Melbourne British Legion womens section and Ticknall Toddlers.

I have photographed most of the scarecrows but I know I missed a few out, namely the ones on Main Street east of the Calke Abbey entrance.
Perhaps you were there and did see them all, can you list which ones I missed out of my video.

Some Scarecrows of interest
00:13 This one had three buttons you could press which made things happen, one of the buttons made the heads squirt water at people which you can see at 00:26
01:19 Savile Crow - I like this one as its made to a very high quality.
02:57 This one was inside Ticknall lockup (built in 1809, Grade II listed. The lock up (also known as a round house) was used for overnight accommodation for villians before being sent to court at Derby)
05:27 Crow Bar (did you get it !). look at the names of the drinks.
05:50 Pirate - This one squirted water from a canon.
06:52 Scarecrows made by the me and dee charity (as seen on Secret Millionaire)
