On the 1st February, The Straits were playing at Forum 28 in Barrow, the band is a revival of the 80's band Dire Straits and consists of new members mixed with original members of the world famous band.
They are currently on tour across the UK and US and kicked it off in Barrow.
Chris White the bands saxophonist and percussionist and original member of the band announced at the start of the concert: 'We would really like you to use our performances as you like, put it on Facebook, upload it on YouTube we really don't mind!'
So with the bands members permission I am doing just that, enjoy!

Barrow-in-Furness Owl Sanctuary
When we visited Haverthwaite Station on the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway on Wednesday 15th October 2014, the Barrow-in-Furness Owl Sanctuary had come along and set up a stall there and brought 3 of their owls along with them which you could handle as my fiancee here did.
