Large boardwalk arcade with small kids' rides, bingo, concessions & many coin-operated games.
Many of the arcades in the UK (Mainly seaside arcades) are called Amusement Arcades. They are typically packed with redemption-based machines with very few video games (As video games simply do not make money). I have placed the word Amusements in the title for these types of places as they are not true Video Game Arcades, but deserve some sort of mention. As gambling is legal in the UK, they tend to include fruit machines (aka slot machines) and various other things money-making games, so video games really take a back seat in places like these. They also really hate filming, I'm not sure why because it's free advertising, unless dodgy things are taking place lol
An amusement arcade (often referred to as video arcade or simply arcade) is a venue where people play arcade games such as video games, pinball machines, electro-mechanical games, redemption games, merchandisers (such as claw cranes), or coin-operated billiards or air hockey tables. In some countries, some types of arcades are also legally permitted to provide gambling machines such as slot machines or pachinko machines. Games are usually housed in cabinets. The term used for ancestors of these venues in the beginning of the 20th century was penny arcades.Video games were introduced in amusement arcades in the late 1970s and were most popular during the golden age of arcade video games, the early 1980s. Arcades became popular with children and particularly adolescents, which led parents to be concerned that video game playing might cause them to skip school.

Video Game Arcade Tours - Coral Island Amusements (Blackpool, UK)
Probably the best arcade in all of Blackpool, hands down! lol.... They have many videos games, it's well themed too, latest games and more. It's more like a resort! Since filming, they have installed a Pump It Up Prime 2 machine and always seem to keep the machines up to date. Had a bit of an issue with filming as staff gave conflicting info on that. Weird.

Places to see in ( Blackpool - UK )
Blackpool is a seaside resort on the Irish Sea coast of England. It's known for Blackpool Pleasure Beach, an old-school amusement park with vintage wooden roller coasters. Built in 1894, the landmark Blackpool Tower houses a circus, a glass viewing platform and the Tower Ballroom, where dancers twirl to the music of a Wurlitzer organ. Blackpool Illuminations is an annual light show along the Promenade.
Blackpool is a seaside resort and unitary authority area in Lancashire, England, on England's northwest coast. The town is on the Irish Sea, between the Ribble and Wyre estuaries, 15 miles (24 km) northwest of Preston, 27 miles (43 km) north of Liverpool, 28 miles (45 km) northwest of Bolton and 40 miles (64 km) northwest of Manchester.
Blackpool rose to prominence as a major centre of tourism in England when a railway was built in the 1840s connecting it to the industrialised regions of Northern England. The railway made it much easier and cheaper for visitors to reach Blackpool, triggering an influx of settlers, such that in 1876 Blackpool was incorporated as a borough, governed by its own town council and aldermen. In 1881, Blackpool was a booming resort with a population of 14,000 and a promenade complete with piers, fortune-tellers, public houses, trams, donkey rides, fish-and-chip shops and theatres. By 1901 the population of Blackpool was 47,000, by which time its place was cemented as the archetypal British seaside resort. By 1951 it had grown to 147,000.
Shifts in tastes, combined with opportunities for Britons to travel overseas, affected Blackpool's status as a leading resort in the late 20th century. Nevertheless, Blackpool's urban fabric and economy remains relatively undiversified, and firmly rooted in the tourism sector, and the borough's seafront continues to attract millions of visitors every year. In addition to its sandy beaches, Blackpool's major attractions and landmarks include Blackpool Tower, Blackpool Illuminations, the Pleasure Beach, Blackpool Zoo, Sandcastle Water Park, the Winter Gardens, and the UK's only surviving first-generation tramway.
Blackpool International Airport operated regular charter and scheduled flights throughout the UK and Europe. Blackpool Transport operates the main bus services in and around Blackpool. Blackpool once had two railway termini with a total of over 30 platforms, mainly used by excursion traffic in the summer. Blackpool Central, close to Blackpool Tower, was closed in 1964, while Blackpool North was largely demolished and rebuilt as a smaller facility.

Seaside Bingo at Funland Amusements Arcade (Skegness, UK)
Playing some seaside bingo at Funland Amusements Arcade in Skegness lol... It's probably one of two good places to play here in Skegness. (Based on the quality of the prizes and also the atmosphere).
Seaside bingo is far less serious then tradional bingo clubs like Mecca and Beacon. These more serious places can see you spend £20 per night + drinks, and the prizes can feature up to £500 a house for in-house games. Seasie bingo is usually 10p-50p per play. Each 'win' is usually worth an item value of £1. You usually do not win money when playing seaside bingo. You can trade your 'wins' for prizes at the prize counter.
Address: Conway Guest House, Grand Parade, Skegness PE25 2UG, UK
