Gettysburg For Kids - Travels With Phil
This video is called Gettysburg For Kids. It shows some of the activities children can do at Gettysburg National Military Park. The Junior Ranger and Join The Army programs will help keep your children interested and occupied while you visit this Civil War battlefield. Many parent want their children to learn something while visiting a historic place. Both of these programs can be fun and educational. Last time I checked, they were both free, too. - Travels with Phil copyrighted by Phil Konstantin -

The Gettysburg Story - Program Clip
Coming to Public Television in November to commemorate the 150th Anniversary of The Gettysburg Address on November 19, 2013. Experience The Gettysburg Story as you have never seen it before! This groundbreaking documentary tells the history of the greatest battle fought on American soil primarily using stunning time lapse cinematography and high definition views of the actual battlefield as recorded by radio controlled helicopter cameras.
The program begins in June 1863 with the start of the Gettysburg campaign in Virginia and follows the route of the Confederate and Union armies as they move north along the Blue Ridge mountains and across the Mason-Dixon line to meet on the rolling ground surrounding the small Pennsylvania town.

Gettysburg 2017: Day 1
I spent a weekend in Gettysburg in early November 2017 and decided to make a video blog documenting the trip. In this installment, I explore key sites of the first day of battle, July 1, 1863: McPherson Ridge, Barlow's Knoll, the death of General John F. Reynolds, and capture of Brig. General Archer. I've been learning a lot about this Civil War battle, but I also learned not to eat a powdered doughnut before recording a vlog. Join me as I explore many aspects of the Gettysburg battlefield and check out my other journeys at

Gettysburg National Soldiers' Cemetery
Gettysburg National Cemetery is a United States national cemetery created for casualties of the July 1 to 3, 1863 Battle of Gettysburg in the American Civil War. It is located just outside Gettysburg Borough to the south, in Adams County, Pennsylvania.
The Battle of Gettysburg was a turning point in the American Civil War, the Union victory that ended General Robert E. Lee's second and most ambitious invasion of the North. Often referred to as the High Water Mark of the Rebellion, Gettysburg was the Civil War's bloodiest battle and was also the inspiration for President Abraham Lincoln's immortal Gettysburg Address.

Gettysburg National Military Park
The Battle of Gettysburg was a three-day conflict which took place during the American Civil War, from July 1 to July 3, 1863, resulting in approximately 51,112 individuals being killed, wounded, missing, or captured. Gettysburg was the bloodiest battle of the entire Civil War.
This video is a slideshow of images that I shot at Gettysburg National Military Park in September 2012.
