Running in San Sebastian
Running video postcard of San Sebastian
Hello there!
Here is a short video shot in San Sebastian, Basque country, Spain, in dec 2018.
We didn't plan to go to San Sebastian as the wheather was not good, but we finally ended there and had the opportunity to run to the top of the mount Urgull where you will find the Mota Castle and the statue of the Sagrado Corazon de Jesus.
We ended the day with a beautiful cloudy sunset over the Mount Igueldo and an beautiful view on the Concha bay.
Here are more video about my running trip through spain:

San Sebastian, Spain - The Best Pintxo bars!
Pincho Bar Guide ➡️

Amalfi Coast Guide! ➡️
Our Favorite Gear ➡️
Basque country, also known as Euskadi, is an autonomous region in Northern Spain (and part of France) that prides itself on being the gastronomical capital of the world. While there are plenty of beautiful towns in Basque Country, San Sebastián is the heart and soul of the cuisine scene, specifically the Pinxtos in San Sebastián!
Basque cooking is known for the simplicity of the ingredients and the complexities of its tastes. The Basque weren’t influenced or invaded by the Moors so there were no outside spices brought into the area, hence the food relies on simple seasonings and very fresh produce, meats, and fish.
Looking for the best Pincho or Pintxo bars to go to? we have you covered! We spent a long weekend stuffing our faces and trying all the best pincho bars in Old Town San Sebastian!

3. EPIC PINTXOS IN SAN SEBASTIAN! ????
⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯
When you go to San Sebastian, it’s all about eating pintxos (the local form of tapas). The pintxo bars in this city are incredible. But the historic centre can get really busy. So in this video, my Devour Tours co-founder Lauren and I head to the neighbourhood of Gros (only a 10 minute walk from the history centre) and visit 9 of the best local pintxo bars there.
At each of the 9 places we try the specialty pintxo - everything from foie, to anchovies, to cured pork belly, to cod, to the most amazing fresh tomatoes and even dessert. And in each of the 9 pintxo bars, we’re largely surrounded by locals. So this gives us a great insight into the true local pintxo culture.
I give lots of tips for how to navigate a pinxto bar. And I also show you all the local drinks you should be enjoying with your pintxos. From the local white wine Txakoli, to super dry Basque cider to Rioja (from just 2 hours north), you’ll really get the low down and what drinks to pair with your pintxos!

IN LOVE W/ SAN SEBASTIAN SPAIN! // VLOG 04
San Sebastian is where we head to in our 3rd Spain Travel Vlog. San Sebastian is a perfect place for vlogging in Spain because it is so beautiful. We gave it the nickname Paris by the Sea, which is very fitting because of the Parisian-like architecture, food and wine culture, and romantic atmosphere, which you will see in this vlog.
LIKE and COMMENT below and I will follow you on Instagram :) (so be sure to leave your instagram name too!)
In the beginning of the vlog we head to go the one of Spain's most beautiful beaches, La Concha. Explore the old Gothic part of town before getting some of San Sebastian's famous Pinxtos.
Pinxtos are the Basque version of the tapas.
Hope you enjoy this Spain travel vlog!

PERFECT DAY IN SAN SEBASTIAN & CHEESECAKE! // VLOG 05
On our last full day in San Sebastian, Spain we did what the locals do, go to the beach and finish the night with some famous Basque cheesecake at La Viña. Unlike America, all the beaches in Europe are topless. It's interesting to see different countries and cultures attitudes towards things like topless sunbathing.
Americans are much more conservative and would find it inappropriate, in Europe it's a much more relaxed outlook and easygoing attitude towards life.
In addition to the beach, we also hiked to the statue that overlooks all of San Sebastian and got some drone video footage of San Sebastian. Please feel free to contact me with any questions in the comments below!

Zurich Marató Barcelona 2020: A MAGIC EXPERIENCE

The Zurich Marató de Barcelona offers the unique opportunity to its participants to visit the main points of the city, points as emblematic as the Camp Nou, Passeig de Gracia, Sacred Family or Maritime Walk. The best option to know Barcelona and to enjoy the most visited places of the city.
The good weather and an exceptional gastronomy or the cultural offer for the whole family, they turn the Zurich Marató de Barcelona in a perfect option to enjoy of a fantastic weekend of sport and leisure.
10km of the San Sebastian Marathon - 3D track
In the 2010 edition of the Marathon, Fly Group , together with the Athletics Federation of Guipuzcoa (FAG) decided to integrate a 10km race and it was a great success. This race, homologated by FAG, goes through the same course as the Marathon and the start of the race is 15 minutes beofre the marathon runners. Since his first edition in 2010 , the number of entries has been inscreasing consistently, showing this is a great opportunity for amateur runners to join a great event such as a marathon , feel how it is like to be part of it and live the great atmosphere in a less demanding but attractive distance.
10km runners can share with marathon runners the previous magic moments to the start as both races depart from the same point on Avenida de Madrid, 10km runners starting just 10 minutes after marathon runners. On top of its course, one of the great features of this race is the fact that the finish line is located inside Anoeta Stadium, making is really special and spectacular.
The 10km race has a time limit of 1 hour, and the course is fast and practically flat, going through the most emblematic areas of the beautiful town. An ideal course and distance to enjoy yourself and the breathtaking views.

Spain ???????? Group Trip Around the Coast | GoPro
San Sebastián/ Pamplona/ Barcelona/ Ibiza/ Valencia/ Rota/ Cadiz/ Seville/ Granada/ Tangier, Morocco. It was an amazing two week trip traveling around the coast of Spain/ Espania: Landed in Madrid, trained to San Sebastian in the Basque Country, headed to The Running of the Bulls and San Fermin, toured the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona along with experiencing the Barcelona beaches and nightclubs. We also travelled to Ibiza for a boat party, then Valencia, Rota, Cadiz, Seville, Granada to see the Alhambra, and ended the trip with a overnight trip from Tarifa to Tangier, Morocco.

TOP TRAVEL TIPS:
*Stay more than one night in San Sebastian. It's small, but there is so much to do. The Vargabrothers have some good videos on the place.
*Pamlona gets really overcrowded during the weekend. Go to the days towards the beginning of San Fermin if possible as the streets were full of trash when we went.
*Spend at least 3 nights in Barcelona if not 4. There is so much to do. But be very careful of pick pocketers and people trying to rip you off. They are everywhere, especially if they think you're an American.
*The Sagrada Familia requires you have tickets with a timed entry. Buy them online, if you try to buy tickets at the church they will likely be sold out or only have availability hours later.
*The Sagrada Familia tour also comes with the towers, which also has a timed entry.
*Book tickets for Ibiza a little in advance. Flights there can be very cheap.
*Everything else in Ibiza is very expensive, so be prepared.
*Check Ibiza's spotlight calendar to find what DJs are where:
*We drove to Granada to see the Alhambra, which was the easiest way to get there, and parking was easy too.
*Getting to Tangier can be a struggle. The day I left the boats didn't leave Tarifa because of high winds. So I took a taxi to Algeciras, to get on the FRS ferry there, which takes you to Tangier Med, which then requires another taxi to get to Tangier.

Morning Swim in San Sebastian & Late-Night Metro in Madrid // 038
Playa de la Concha, San Sebastian, Spain, proved to be an incredibly perfect place for a morning swim. With just hours left until I needed to, regrettably, leave San Sebastian, I snuck in as much beach time as possible! La Concha beach, San Sebastian provides the most beautiful backdrop I could imagine. It is definitely the most beautiful place I've swum.
After an amazing swim and quick shower, I get my pack back together. I don't know how I could possible make such a mess of my backpack after having only spent two nights at Koisi Hostel, but, somehow, I did. After repacking, I didn't have long to rush to the bus station.
In the nick of time, I made it onto the bus (after having forgotten my sweatshirt at the hostel and having to run back up that super steep hill to fetch it). Then I sat for six hours until we arrived in Madrid.
Perfect, I got to Madrid. Well, not quite. I needed to take a bus (turned out to be a metro/subway) to the street where the hostel was. After asking a gentleman for help, receiving only two words in response, I struggled through the metro station crossing my fingers I made the right turns. Thankfully, I got to the right train, and then got off at the right stop. Phew.
A perfect cherry on top of the day? Meeting my two hostel-mates for the night, Keila and Melanie, with whom I quickly became good friends. Fun facts: Keila loves Pringles, and Melanie does not like Parisians.
As a solo female budget traveler, I thought I'd be more afraid of cities, especially at night. Budget solo travel as a female can be risky--in theory--because you're staying in hostels not hotels, and you're ditching the taxis and walking to save money. However, I find that I've made great friends in hostels, providing me with people to venture through the city with! For anyone concerned about being a solo female budget traveler: don't fret it, you'll be fine!
See what's in my backpack:
