Firstly in this video is BR Blue Class 87002 working a GBRf staff charter from Newcastle to London Kings Cross with a rake of MK1s seen at Harringay station on the ECML. Secondly in the video is Metropolitan 1 steam locomotive seen arriving at Moorgate sub surface LUL station working a special train in connection with the 150th anniversary of the Hammersmith and City line. On the other end of the train was Electric locomotive Sarah Siddons. This was all recorded on Saturday the 9th August 2014.

six people charged over Hillsborough disaster
David Duckenfield and Norman Bettison are among six people charged with criminal offences over the Hillsborough disaster.
Families of the bereaved travelled to Warrington and were told of the charges in a private briefing by the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS).
Former chief superintendent David Duckenfield, Match Commander for South Yorkshire Police at the 1989 FA Cup semi final that saw 96 Liverpool supporters unlawfully killed, has been charged with 95 counts gross negligence manslaughter. The CPS said it was unable to charge Duckenfield over the manslaughter of Anthony Bland, the 96th casualty, as he died almost four years later.
Former Chief Constable of Merseyside Police and later West Yorkshire Police, Norman Bettison is charged with four offences of misconduct in public office relating to telling alleged lies about his involvement in the aftermath of Hillsborough and the culpability of fans.
Peter Metcalf, a solicitor acting for South Yorkshire Police during the Taylor Inquiry and the first inquests, is charged with doing acts with intent to pervert the course of public justice relating to material changes made to witness statements.
Former Chief Superintendents Donald Denton and former Detective Chief Inspector Alan Foster are charged with perverting the course of public justice over their involvement in the same matter.
Graham Henry Mackrell, Sheffield Wednesday Football Club’s company secretary and safety officer at the time of the disaster in 1989, is charged with two offences under the Safety of Sports Grounds Act 1975 and one offence under the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974.

SR Battle of Britain Class No: 34067 Tangmere, in BR Brunswick Green livery, departs from the heart of the financial centre of the United Kingdom with the 07:04 RTC Excursion from LST to NWH and KLN using the GEML. This is the first time I've filmed at LST for nearly 2 years and it's my first film of Tangmere on the GEML. This scene had a hint of history as Bulleid Light Pacifics did work the GEML in 1951 when the BR 7P6F Britannia' had some teething problems. Talking of Britannia's this tour was meant to be hauled by Ollie but 70013 is under-going some major repairs at the moment. The in-coming train captured in the film for modern train buffs was a LE Class 315 arriving with the 2T13 Metro service from CHI. This tour was originally going to run in Feb-2013 to mark the 62nd anniversary of the introduction of Brit' on the GEML. Because of the repair issues with 70013 it was shifted to Apr-2013 then to today.
Trivia time. This was the 28th Down main-line steam excursion of 2013 in the London area, the same number as last year. This was 34067' 8th Down run in London since 01-Jan-2013, 7 more than at this stage last year.. This is the RTC' 7th Down steam run from London in 2013, 3 more than this time last year.. This is the 1st Down steam special of 2013 to depart LST. Last year there was only one steam special departing LST and that was hauled by Britannia in October 2012.
LST is a very important communication hub based, as it is inside the City of London. LST boasts 18 Platforms and the TOC, LE also runs fast trains to SSD. Passengers can also get on TfL LU trains both deep and sub-surface lines and LST will be a major station on the Crossrail route and there is a lot of work going on related to Crossrail by the Western side of LST. To stand above the concourse of LST at rush hour is an amazing sight as commuters rush to work or home and there is also a lot of visitors to the station because of SSD. I am fortunate enough to remember LST in steam days when it was a dark, noisy and frightening place for a child. A big contrast to the modern station it is today.
In the hour from 06:34 to 07:34 there were scheduled 32 departures (all LE) and 30 arrivals. The 32 departures are CHI (4) CLT (1) SNF (5) SSD (4) CBG (2) ENF (2) NWH (3) SOV (3) HPQ (1) HFE (2) CHN (2) BTR (1) IPS (1) ecs (1) Note: 1 of the departures to NWH was Tangmere. Of the 30 arrivals 29 are service trains and 1 is ecs.
LST was opened by the GER on 02-Feb-1874. Where I stood was inside the original 1874 station. The station was enlarged on the East side and opened on 02-Apr-1894. On 01-Jan-1923 the GER was absorbed into the LNER. On 01-Jan-1948 the LNER was absorbed into BR. In 1949 some East Side commuter trains were taken over by EMU' using 1500V dc overhead cables. In 1957 some steam services started to give way to Diesel Locos. In 1961 EMU' started to run out of the West side and in 1962 steam had gone. From 1962 to 1985 Diesel' were replaced by electric traction. In 1997 West Side trains were taken over by WAGN while East Side became Anglia Trains. In 2004 NEEA took over all services into LST. In 2012 a Dutch company took over from NEEA and its now called LE.
