Phong Nha, Vietnam
The Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park is considered as one of the best hot spots of biodiversity in the world and is home to many endemic species. Phong Nha National Park encompasses large areas of unadulterated wilderness including waterfalls, streams, and foliage covered mountains. Unfortunately, the area has had problems with hunters and loggers. As a result, a local by the name of Hai decided to create an adventure tour company to help protect the park and its wildlife.

Vietnam 2014 - Dragonboat ride to Phong Nha Cave
Our dragon boat ride to the second cave on our tour was to Phong Nha Cave. As this was off-season, we were almost alone. This was a pleasant change after so much walking to Paradise Cave.
We came to Phong Nha-Kẻ Bàng Park [World Heritage Site] from Đồng Hới after travelling by train from Đà Nẵng. A lot of travelling to see some caves, but well worth it. UNESCO sites are well worth the visit.

Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park in Vietnam is one of the top teambuilding destinations in the world. It is one of the top must-see places in the world due to its astounding beauty and the inspiring journeys that travellers have here.
#teambuildingasia #topteambuildingdestinations #teamspirit

Team-building tours are a fantastic getaway into the jungle. However, relaxation is not the name of the game on this tour. Instead, days will be action packed with thrilling games, team-building opportunities, adventure, delicious food, and beautiful campsites situated in the wild jungle of Vietnam.
In a tour unlike anything available in this region, you will have the options of obstacle course races, scavenger hunts, and many other activities which will keep your team working together and smiling the whole time through. Team-building tours are catered according to your preference and the outcome you are looking for (please see the photo gallery below).
Tours can be designed with the following ideas:
A race, in which your group is split into teams and must compete against each other
A tour, in which your whole group stays together and participates in different games and activities throughout the tour
Camping skills, in which you can learn about putting tents up, cooking over an open fire, tying knots, first aid skills, etc.
Environmental awareness and community projects, in which our team will teach you all about conservation in the wilderness; on the last day, participate in a group cleanup effort in Tan Hoa village
Design your own teambuilding! We are happy to cooperate with any ideas which you may have (pending safety regulations)

The Long Way Home / Heaven Is in the Sky / I Have Three Heads / Epitaph's Spoon River Anthology
Spoon River Anthology (1915), by Edgar Lee Masters, is a collection of short free-form poems that collectively describe the life of the fictional small town of Spoon River, named after the real Spoon River that ran near Masters' home town. The collection includes two hundred and twelve separate characters, all providing two-hundred forty-four accounts of their lives and losses. The poems were originally published in the magazine Reedy's Mirror.
Each following poem is an epitaph of a dead citizen, delivered by the dead themselves. They speak about the sorts of things one might expect: some recite their histories and turning points, others make observations of life from the outside, and petty ones complain of the treatment of their graves, while few tell how they really died. Speaking without reason to lie or fear the consequences, they construct a picture of life in their town that is shorn of façades. The interplay of various villagers — e.g. a bright and successful man crediting his parents for all he's accomplished, and an old woman weeping because he is secretly her illegitimate child — forms a gripping, if not pretty, whole.
The subject of afterlife receives only the occasional brief mention, and even those seem to be contradictory.
The work features such characters as Tom Merritt, Amos Sibley, Carl Hamblin, Fiddler Jones and A.D. Blood. Many of the characters that make appearances in Spoon River Anthology were based on real people that Masters knew or heard of in the two towns in which he grew up, Petersburg and Lewistown, Illinois. Most notable is Ann Rutledge, regarded in local legend to be Abraham Lincoln's early love interest though there is no actual proof of such a relationship. Rutledge's grave can still be found in a Petersburg cemetery, and a tour of graveyards in both towns reveals most of the surnames that Masters applied to his characters.
Other local legends assert that Masters' fictional portrayal of local residents, often in unflattering light, created a lot of embarrassment and aggravation in his hometown. This is offered as an explanation for why he chose not to settle down in Lewistown or Petersburg.
Spoon River Anthology is often used in second year characterization work in the Meisner technique of actor training.
Environmental Disaster: Natural Disasters That Affect Ecosystems
John P. Milton is a meditation and Qigong instructor, author, and a pioneering environmentalist. He is the founder of Sacred Passage and the Way of Nature. About the book:
He pioneered vision questing in contemporary Western culture in the 1940s. In 1945, at the time he began his sacred solo retreats in the wilderness, vision quests were unknown in the Americas outside Native American culture. He received his M.S. in ecology and conservation from the University of Michigan in 1963.[1] Milton is also known for organizing and leading dozens of expeditions into some of the wildest areas left on Earth, starting in his late teens. A founding father of the environmental movement in the early 1960s, he was a professor of environmental studies and a Woodrow Wilson Center scholar at the Smithsonian Institution. He was one of the first ecologists on staff at the White House as a member of the President's Council of Economic Advisors, and was a founding member of the environmental organization Friends of the Earth.
He is a frequent lecturer and workshop leader, and a pioneering, renowned, and sought-after meditation and Qi Gong teacher. Thousands of people have sought his instruction since he began teaching in the 1950s. He has developed unique practices for uniting inner and outer nature through training in Buddhist, Taoist, Vedantic, Tantric, and Native American spiritual traditions, and he incorporates T'ai chi and yoga in his work. The book Discovering Beautiful: On The Road To Somewhere includes several sections detailing a student's apprenticeship with John.
John's work in the world is also featured on the Transition United States web site.
His books and articles focus on inner development, Qi Gong and ecology. He recently published the book Sky Above, Earth Below. Devotees of Milton say his programs inspire Earth stewardship by cultivating natural wisdom and an open, loving heart in the wild.
John Milton lives in Tucson, Arizona.
