Hakata Port Tower Fukuoka Japan
Hello . Welcome to Simple life Vlog !!!
Hakata Port Tower ???? Japan As It Truly Is
Long before the Fukuoka Tower, there was the 1964 old-school Hakata Port Tower, and still offers a good city and harbor view from 73m (about 241 ft) up. One drawback is the wired glass all around which obstructs your view.
Especially if the weather is good, it's well worth going up to take a look, and unlike the Fukuoka Tower which costs 800 yen, the Port Tower is free.

Sub English. Landscape of Japan. Hakata-port-tower Fukuoka,JAPAN
People who went to Fukuoka Tower at most, Hakata Port Tower has become the best-kept secret of Fukuoka unexpectedly.
And about 10 minutes by bus from Tenjin, there is no chance that we go in while are very close.
However, it is in good condition as Bayside Place Now, not it may also Seaside than have? It has become a tourist spot that much.
People at least during the week, is a place of absolute recommended if you want to enjoy the atmosphere of a relaxed seaside.
Facilities such as restaurants are also in place, it's that landing from the sea on the water bus to return to the Tenjin also interesting.
View from Hakata Port Tower of free admission at most, I can enjoy a 360 ° omni-directionally the city of Fukuoka.
I want you to come visit if couple, it is off the beaten path attractions.

Hakata (Fukuoka), Japan
English subs available!
Hakata is one of the oldest cities in Japan. In the Middle Ages Hakata, which faces onto the Genkai-Nada Channel (玄界灘) dividing Japan from Korea, was a base for merchants who traded with China and Korea, and the city housed Japan's first Chinatown. Taira no Kiyomori is said to have built the artificial harbor Sode-no-minato (袖の湊) to increase commerce. Hakata was burned down by many wars, including the Mongol invasions.
From the early 2010s Hakata became the beneficiary of significant growth in cruise ship tourism; particularly with visitors from China.
In 2014, 91 cruise ships travelled from China called at Hakata.
In 2015, 245 cruise ship calls were made at Hakata Port. After expansion and redevelopment of the port facilities, the number of cruise ship port calls in 2016 is expected to exceed 400. As of 2015, the largest passenger vessel making regular port calls at Hakata is the Royal Caribbean International owned MS Quantum of the Seas.
Fukuoka is the capital city of Fukuoka Prefecture, situated on the northern shore of Japanese island Kyushu. It is the most populous city on the island, followed by Kitakyushu. It is the largest city and metropolitan area west of Keihanshin. The city was designated on April 1, 1972, by government ordinance. Greater Fukuoka, with a population of 2.5 million people (2005 census), is part of the heavily industrialized Fukuoka–Kitakyushu zone as well as Northern Kyushu.

Pacific Crossing Brazil-Japan: Arriving at Hakata Port in Fukuoka
The Pacific Ocean crossing is coming to an end! After entering Japanese waters by crossing the Bungo Suido Canal (or Bungo Channel) in the previews video, the morning after we would arrive in the port of Hakata, Fukuoka.
The Bungo Channel (豊後水道 Bungo Suidō) is a strait separating the Japanese islands of Kyūshū and Shikoku. It connects the Pacific Ocean and Seto Inland Sea.[1] The narrowest part of this channel is the Hōyo Strait.
Previous video: Now we are in the middle of the Pacific Ocean on the crossing from Brazil to Japan and I want to show more of how much the Peace Boat's Ocean Dream cruise ship moves on the not-so-pacific ocean!
The previous video we were with the Ocean Dream in Manzanillo, Mexico, on the way to Japan!
The Ocean Dream is the new Peace Boat cruise ship, but first we had to take her from Brazil to Japan. Our trip started in Recife, on the Brazilian coast where the Ocean Dream was sailing under the Pullmantur flag, passed by Curaçao in the Netherlands Antilles (Caribbean), Colon and Balboa (including the crossing of the Panama Canal) and Manzanillo, on the Pacific Coast of Mexico, which is the city I show on this video. This was our last port of call before arriving in Fukuoka, Japan.
The End Poverty 2015 is a UN world campaign. The Ocean Dream will be doing Open Houses in Japan already with the logo, in Fukuoka (Hakata), Kobe, Nagoya and Yokohama, where she departs in 08 May 2012 for the first around the world trip with Peace Boat.
