C'Mon Everybody (Elvis Presley) Lyrics:
Come on everybody and snap your fingers now
Come on everybody clap your hands real loud
Come on everybody take a real deep breath
And repeat after me
Lovin' my baby
Lovin' my baby
Hey, hey, hey and my baby loves me
Come on everybody and whistle this tune right now
Come on everybody and stomp your feet real loud
Come on everybody take a real deep breath
And repeat after me
Lovin' my baby
Lovin' my baby
Hey, hey, hey and my baby loves me
Well there ain't nothing wrong with the long-haired music
Like Brahms, Beethoven and Bach
Well I was raised with a guitar in my hand
And I was born to rock
Well, come on everybody and turn your head to the left
Come on everybody and turn your head to the right
Come on everybody take a real deep breath
And repeat after me
Lovin' my baby
Lovin' my baby
Hey, hey, hey and my baby loves me
C'mon Everybody

Live Performance of One Voice Children's Choir- A Million Dreams (The Greatest Showman)
One Voice Children's Choir sings A Million Dreams at the Utah Best of State Awards Gala on May 17, 2018. Featuring Afton Higbee (OVCC choir member and Utah COPA Company Member) as the third soloists. Other Soloists include: Madilyn Terry, Tanner Lybbert, and Chloe Barrus. A Million Dreams was arranged by Masa Fukuda, Director of One Voice Children's Choir.
Afton Grace Higbee is 11 years old and in 5th grade. She is a member of the One Voice Children's Choir and a Dance and Musical Theater Company Member at Utah COPA. She is currently playing the role of Annie in Annie at Hale Center Theater in Orem, Utah. Favorite past roles include: Young Cosette in Les Miserables (HCTO), Adele in Jane Eyre (HCTO), Young TiMoune/Little Girl in Once on this Island (LPHS), Molly in Annie (CYT), Caddie Grant in Trail of Dreams (UVU), and a workhouse kid/street urchin in Oliver! (PTC, dir. by Karen Azenburg). Afton loves to read, draw, cook, travel, and do gymnastics. Afton is super grateful to her family, friends, and teachers for their support.
At the event One Voice Children’s Choir won for Best Children’s Performing Group, Best Children’s Choir, and the BOSS Statue for Best overall in the entire Arts and Entertainment Category. Even though the choir has won multiple awards over the past few years, this was the first time the choir has been asked to perform at the awards gala so it was an honor to be selected as one of the soloists! So grateful to the choir and Masa Fukuda for so many amazing opportunities! Special thanks to my amazing dance teacher, Lindsey Folkman, for the video... she was there accepting her award for best choreographer (I think she’s won it every year!) and two awards for Utah COPA! Congrats to all!! Afton feels so fortunate to be a part of so many great programs!

Lyrics:
What's the matter with the clothes I'm wearing?
Can't you tell that your tie's too wide?
Maybe I should buy some old tab collars?
Welcome back to the age of jive
Where have you been hidin' out lately, honey?
You can't dress trashy till you spend a lot of money
Everybody's talkin' 'bout the new sound
Funny, but it's still rock and roll to me
What's the matter with the car I'm driving?
Can't you tell that it's out of style?
Should I get a set of white wall tires?
Are you gonna cruise a miracle mile?
Nowadays you can't be too sentimental
Your best bet's a true baby-blue Continental
Hot funk, cool punk, even if it's old junk
It's still rock and roll to me
Oh, it doesn't matter what they say in the papers
'Cause it's always been the same old scene
There's a new band in town, but you can't get the sound
From a story in a magazine
Aimed at your average teen
How about a pair of pink sidewinders
And a bright orange pair of pants?
Well, you could really be a Beau Brummel, baby
If you just give it half a chance
Don't waste your money on a new set of speakers
You get more mileage from a cheap pair of sneakers
Next phase, new wave, dance craze, anyways
It's still rock and roll to me
Everybody's talkin' 'bout the new sound
Funny, but it's still rock and roll to me
