Abhaneri is a village in the Dausa district of Rajasthan state in India. It is situated at a distance of 95 km from Jaipur, on the Jaipur-Agra road. The place is popular for the Chand Baori step well and Harshat Mata Temple.
The colossal, delicately carved well of Chand Baori is located very close to the ruins of Harshat Mata Temple. It was a ritual to wash hands and feet at the Chand Baori before visiting the Harshat Mata Temple. Harshat Mata Temple is dedicated to goddess Harshat Mata. Harshat Mata is considered to be the goddess of joy and happiness. According to myth, the goddess is always cheerful, and she imparts her joy and happiness to the whole village. Substantially destroyed by islamic invaders in the 10th century, the remains of the temple still boast of architectural and sculptural styles of 10th century India. The temple itself is on a raised platform from where unrestricted views of nearby fertile region can be had. There is a small village nearby where many artisans live.

Hello Guys in this Vlog I visit Abhaneri - Chand Baori which is 95 km far away from Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. Chand Baori is a massive stepwell which is built in between 800 CE - 900 CE by King Chanda of the Nikumbh Dynasty. We ride our bikes Jaipur to reach abhaneri. Chand Baori will stay for long in your mind with its impressive architecture, the weird air around it, and some hundreds of bats that can be heard shrieking inside it. Also, if you are a movie buff, know that this is the same stepwell that you might have noticed in The Dark Knight Rises and Bhool Bhulaiya. But a day we can't shoot any kind of video in that placelace.

Harshat Mata Temple in Chand Baori in Rajasthan India in VR 360
Harshat Mata Temple, Rajasthan (I)
Harshat Mata Temple was built during the 8th century AD, it is located opposite the Chand Baori in the village of Abhaneri in Rajasthan. The temple erected on three stepped terraces is dedicated to Goddess Harshat Mata, who is worshiped as the Goddess of Joy and Happiness. This amazing temple is filled with carvings on the walls and pillars. It was destroyed during the Mughal invasions, and was rebuilt by locals after collecting the small pieces but the temple was not the same.
Harsiddhi Mata Temple - Miyani...GUJARAT
Harshidhhi Mata Temple also known as Harshal Mata Temple located at a place called Miani, some 30 km away from Porbandar en route to Dwarka. The main temple was originally located on a hill top facing the sea. It is said Lord Krishna had worshiped her during his lifetime and has since been living atop hill called Koyla Dungar. The original temple atop the hill is said to be have been build by Lord Krishna himself. Lord Krishna wanted to defeat the asuras and Jarasandha so he prayed to Amba Mata for power. With the blessings of the goddess, Krishna was able to defeat the Asuras. After this success, he built the temple. When Jarasandha was killed, all Yadavas over overjoyed (harshit) and they celebrated their success here. Hence the name Harshad Mata or Harsiddhi Mata. She has since been worshiped as kuldevi of Yadavs
Harshat Mata Temple
This famous temple is dedicated to the local goddess Harshat. Unlike the well, this temple has suffered the wrath of time and has been razed and destroyed by Islamic rulers who invaded the temple. Only ruins are left, but of what still remains, the temple is a great sight. With a grand open courtyard and wonderful sculptures and carvings on pillars and walls, we now can only imagine what the temple could have been like in its full glory. Though, the temple does not disappoint, I guarantee you will love the environment and the aura that the temple provides.
