Cobble Beach at Georgian Bay - Greatest Golf Resort in Ontario
Come to enjoy great Georgian Bay golf at the Cobble Beach Golf Resort.
Cobble Beach Resort Ontario :
Cobble Beach Real Estate website information:
Helen: Imagine just sitting on a porch watching that.
John: It's a fantastic first class development.
Rona: We walk the trails. We ski them in the wintertime. We really like living here.
Brian: Winter or summer, it's constantly a new sight for the eyes.
Brad: It's a gorgeous course. It's golf heaven on earth.
Geoffrey: It is really beautiful when you drive down Cobble Beach. It's just breathtaking.
Rob: Cobble Beach is a master plan community unparalleled in Ontario. It's a casually elegant lifestyle two hours from Pearson Airport. It is ten minutes from Owen Sound. When you turn from Grey County Road 1 onto Cobble Beach Drive, we want you to feel the weight of the world lifting off your shoulders.
My father, Willis McLeese, had the vision to purchase the property in 1998. He was 85 years old. Big water views, long shore drives, such a unique geography that it allows us to emulate some of the most fantastic places in the world, which include Nantucket and Pebble Beach. It really allows one to transport themselves into another world.
Owen Sound, which is only ten minutes away, has some of the most incredible recreational facilities. There are music festivals. There are art festivals. The medical center at Owen Sound is unparalleled. It is one of the top three cancer hospitals in Ontario. That's ten minutes from Cobble Beach.
John: The visions that Willis McLeese had for the development was first class, world class. That Nantucket look, the theming right from the front entrance right through to all the buildings, has been consistent. The homes are consistent with the look that we're after. It's a place to relax. It's an oasis.
Geoffrey: I can actually remember when I was 14 years old coming out in a boat on Georgian Bay with the family, and I had no clue why we were coming out here. I was actually just blown away by the quality of the water here and how clean and crystal clear it was. That's something that I still love to this day.
Rob: Cobble Beach is a 574 acre site. Over 40% of the total site will end up being green space. We have a world class golf course designed by Doug Carrick similar to that design by Doug at Magna or at Big Wind. We've been very fortunate in that the golf community has embraced Cobble Beach, and they come back again and again.
Greg: In the summer, obviously, the golf course is a big draw. But we also have a fantastic spa with a huge array of treatments, anything from manicures, pedicures, massages, Vichy shower. Then we have a fully equipped pro shop. Any needs that you may have for the golf course itself as well as the tennis court are great. The dock, lots of kids jumping off the dock in the summer. It's a great way to refresh yourself.
There's the beach club and the critically acclaimed restaurant, Sweetwater. The fantastic culinary team...We bring in celebrity chefs on a number of occasions and collaborate with our own culinary team. And did I mention the golf course? That's an amazing, amazing, golf course as well.
Brian: We decided to move here mainly because we've got everything at our doorstep. We can walk out in the morning. We've got a decision whether it's tennis, golf, kayaking, swimming, or fishing.
Rona: We make full use of the facilities. We go to the different events that are sponsored here in the dining room, and ladies night and couples night for golf.
Brian: Another highlight I think is meeting new friends from all over the world. Like last year, we visited friends in England where we get to see her in the summertime.
Will: Our view is very much we wanted to retire and we wanted to wear out, not rest out.
Helen: I'd never golfed before. I took golf lessons the first year we were here, loved it. Now I just can't get enough.
Andrew: I'd absolutely recommend coming to see one of the golf professionals here, getting introduced to the game, taking an introductory lesson, taking a tour of the golf course. It's playable for everybody, and you get some incredible views around the golf course, which can make a great day even better.
Laura: What we offer at Cobble Beach is quite unique because we have something for everyone. We have the lake houses by Reids Heritage Homes that offers you a turnkey lifestyle, or the lots here are so spectacular that you may want to build a custom home here. We have two wonderful custom builders here that can help you in your choice of making a dream home for yourself.
Rob: Coming shortly are Blue Bay Villas, which will start at about $374,000. It's a really nice little slice of heaven, 41 units within a very tight little community overlooking the water.

SUMMARY
=======
England is a country that is part of the United Kingdom. It shares land borders with Scotland to the north and Wales to the west. The Irish Sea lies northwest of England and the Celtic Sea lies to the southwest. England is separated from continental Europe by the North Sea to the east and the English Channel to the south. The country covers five-eighths of the island of Great Britain, which lies in the North Atlantic, and includes over 100 smaller islands, such as the Isles of Scilly and the Isle of Wight.
The area now called England was first inhabited by modern humans during the Upper Palaeolithic period, but takes its name from the Angles, a Germanic tribe deriving its name from the Anglia peninsula, who settled during the 5th and 6th centuries. England became a unified state in the 10th century, and since the Age of Discovery, which began during the 15th century, has had a significant cultural and legal impact on the wider world. The English language, the Anglican Church, and English law – the basis for the common law legal systems of many other countries around the world – developed in England, and the country's parliamentary system of government has been widely adopted by other nations. The Industrial Revolution began in 18th-century England, transforming its society into the world's first industrialised nation.England's terrain is chiefly low hills and plains, especially in central and southern England. However, there is upland and mountainous terrain in the north (for example, the Lake District and Pennines) and in the west (for example, Dartmoor and the Shropshire Hills). The capital is London, which has the largest metropolitan area in both the United Kingdom and the European Union. England's population of over 55 million comprises 84% of the population of the United Kingdom, largely concentrated around London, the South East, and conurbations in the Midlands, the North West, the North East, and Yorkshire, which each developed as major industrial regions during the 19th century.The Kingdom of England – which after 1535 included Wales – ceased being a separate sovereign state on 1 May 1707, when the Acts of Union put into effect the terms agreed in the Treaty of Union the previous year, resulting in a political union with the Kingdom of Scotland to create the Kingdom of Great Britain. In 1801, Great Britain was united with the Kingdom of Ireland (through another Act of Union) to become the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland. In 1922 the Irish Free State seceded from the United Kingdom, leading to the latter being renamed the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

SUMMARY
=======

SUMMARY
=======
Shenzhen (, Mandarin: [ʂə́n.ʈʂə̂n] (listen)) is a major city in Guangdong Province, China; it forms part of the Pearl River Delta megalopolis, bordering Hong Kong to the south, Huizhou to the northeast, and Dongguan to the northwest. It holds sub-provincial administrative status, with powers slightly less than those of a province.
Shenzhen, which roughly follows the administrative boundaries of Bao'an County, officially became a city in 1979, taking its name from the former county town, whose train station was the last stop on the Mainland Chinese section of the railway between Canton and Kowloon. In 1980, Shenzhen was established as China's first special economic zone. Shenzhen's registered population as of 2017 was estimated at 12,905,000. However, local police and authorities estimate the actual population to be about 20 million, due to large populations of short-term residents, unregistered floating migrants, part-time residents, commuters, visitors, as well as other temporary residents. Shenzhen was one of the fastest-growing cities in the world in the 1990s and the 2000s and has been ranked second on the list of ‘top 10 cities to visit in 2019 by Lonely Planet.Shenzhen's cityscape results from its vibrant economy - made possible by rapid foreign investment following the institution of the policy of reform and opening-up in 1979. The city is a leading global technology hub, dubbed by media as the next Silicon Valley.Shenzhen hosts the Shenzhen Stock Exchange as well as the headquarters of numerous multinational companies such as JXD, Vanke, Hytera, CIMC, SF Express, Shenzhen Airlines, Nepstar, Hasee, Ping An Bank, Ping An Insurance, China Merchants Bank, Tencent, ZTE, Huawei, DJI and BYD. Shenzhen ranks 14th in the 2019 Global Financial Centres Index. It has one of the busiest container ports in the world.
Auburn Coach Wife Kristi Malzahn Agrees with Match & eHarmony: Men are Jerks
My advice is this: Settle! That's right. Don't worry about passion or intense connection. Don't nix a guy based on his annoying habit of yelling Bravo! in movie theaters. Overlook his halitosis or abysmal sense of aesthetics. Because if you want to have the infrastructure in place to have a family, settling is the way to go. Based on my observations, in fact, settling will probably make you happier in the long run, since many of those who marry with great expectations become more disillusioned with each passing year. (It's hard to maintain that level of zing when the conversation morphs into discussions about who's changing the diapers or balancing the checkbook.)
Obviously, I wasn't always an advocate of settling. In fact, it took not settling to make me realize that settling is the better option, and even though settling is a rampant phenomenon, talking about it in a positive light makes people profoundly uncomfortable. Whenever I make the case for settling, people look at me with creased brows of disapproval or frowns of disappointment, the way a child might look at an older sibling who just informed her that Jerry's Kids aren't going to walk, even if you send them money. It's not only politically incorrect to get behind settling, it's downright un-American. Our culture tells us to keep our eyes on the prize (while our mothers, who know better, tell us not to be so picky), and the theme of holding out for true love (whatever that is—look at the divorce rate) permeates our collective mentality.
Even situation comedies, starting in the 1970s with The Mary Tyler Moore Show and going all the way to Friends, feature endearing single women in the dating trenches, and there's supposed to be something romantic and even heroic about their search for true love. Of course, the crucial difference is that, whereas the earlier series begins after Mary has been jilted by her fiancé, the more modern-day Friends opens as Rachel Green leaves her nice-guy orthodontist fiancé at the altar simply because she isn't feeling it. But either way, in episode after episode, as both women continue to be unlucky in love, settling starts to look pretty darn appealing. Mary is supposed to be contentedly independent and fulfilled by her newsroom family, but in fact her life seems lonely. Are we to assume that at the end of the series, Mary, by then in her late 30s, found her soul mate after the lights in the newsroom went out and her work family was disbanded? If her experience was anything like mine or that of my single friends, it's unlikely.
And while Rachel and her supposed soul mate, Ross, finally get together (for the umpteenth time) in the finale of Friends, do we feel confident that she'll be happier with Ross than she would have been had she settled down with Barry, the orthodontist, 10 years earlier? She and Ross have passion but have never had long-term stability, and the fireworks she experiences with him but not with Barry might actually turn out to be a liability, given how many times their relationship has already gone up in flames. It's equally questionable whether Sex and the City's Carrie Bradshaw, who cheated on her kindhearted and generous boyfriend, Aidan, only to end up with the more exciting but self-absorbed Mr. Big, will be better off in the framework of marriage and family. (Some time after the breakup, when Carrie ran into Aidan on the street, he was carrying his infant in a Baby Björn. Can anyone imagine Mr. Big walking around with a Björn?)
