4K video. A walk to Diglis Basin, where the Worcester and Birmingham Canal meets the River Severn.
This is a 4K video of a walk to Diglis Basin. Diglis Basin sits where the canal meets the River Severn in the city of Worcester. We walked along the Worcester and Birmingham Canal on Sunday, one of the sunny days in November 2019. We passed the Commandery, the Royalist Headquarters during the deciding battle of the English Civil War – the Battle of Worcester 1651. There is more to this area, but as you will see the Severn was still in flood therefore some areas were inaccessible. You will notice the water overspilling the towpath after lock one. The area around the Basin has gone through a transformation developing the space, turning it from a derelict wasteland into what you see today. The development to the right as we approach the Basin is the now transformed Royal Porcelain Works.

What to do in Worcester
Now that the weather starting to get better why not take a walk along the river in Worcester. Its a great thing to do whilst in Worcester as you take in the sights and sounds that there is to offer. You'll see swans, ducks, Narrowboats in the Diglis marina, Worcester Cathedral and many more
The area can be quite populated on sunny days and weekends but it just adds to the atmosphere. You feel like you're on holiday.

Worcester Univeristy Students Noise 3rd May 2015 Nufield Close , England
Hi ,
This is the constant noise me and other neighbours are suffering in Nuffield Close, yet the Uni,Police,Environmental Health claim there is not a problem. Would you send your sons and daughters to a University that allows this noise from its students who just get drunk and take drugs and harass people and make lives miserable ?
Recording time after 22:00 PM 3rd May 2015 Please note you will not see the students but you can hear them very well and this shows the evidence that there is still a problem with noise in Nuffield Close yet no one is doing anything about the problem.
