HOFGUT STERNEN - THE BLACK FOREST VILLAGE

Hofgut Sternen - Renewable Energy
Sustainable energy production has a long tradition in the Black Forest. For a completely independent energy network we combine on our premises traditional energy sources and modern technology and produce our own energy with local and renewable energy ressources (wood, water, sun) - this is our contribution for a sustainable tourism.
Hofgut Sternen Village, Black Forest, Germany
This shows the exterior of buildings at the picturesque village of Hofgut Sternen in Germany's Black Forest. This village exists apparently mainly to sell things to tourists as they offer everything from cuckoo clocks to candle carousels and pyramids to Black Forest Cake to handblown glass.
scenes from Hofgut Sternen Village in Germany's Black Forest (long version)
This is my longest video on this tiny, scenic and charming village in Germany's Black Forest which appears to exist mainly to serve tourists interested in hand blown glass handicrafts, Black Forest Cake, cuckoo clocks, candle carousels and other high quality German crafts. It is located just off B31 highway. I was here as part of an included tour on a Viking River Cruise (Rhine Getaway). These views were taken in full HD on June 27, 2016. I must say the handicrafts were simply amazing as was how they actually make a Black Forest Cake. Also, I had never seen such nice Candle Carousels and I was really tempted to get one even though I have no idea where I would put it in our house. I'm pretty sure all Viking tour buses stop here. Not sure whether other lines' Rhine cruise tour buses do too but I hope so because this really was interesting and they will ship whatever you might purchase guaranteed anywhere in the world. Having taken a number of Viking cruises both river and ocean since, this Rhine Getaway cruise from Basel to Amsterdam remains my favorite of all of them.
Germany's Black Forest Gift Shop - Hofgut Sternen
On a Viking cruise, one of the day trips was to this gift shop, where they make Black Forest Cake with kirsh, they sell cuckoo clocks, and make and sell glassware.
mountain stream (Löchswasser Entnahmestelle) in Hofgut Sternen, Black Forest, Germany
This is a pleasant, mountain stream, Löchswasser Entnahmestelle, that runs through the little town of Hofgut Sternen in Germany's Black Forest. This is one of the towns where they sell cuckoo clocks, Black Forest Cake, blown glass products and other German crafts. Seems like a town created for tourists.

This shows the exterior of the buildings in the Black Forest village of Hufgut Sternen in Germany along with a demonstration of how to make a Black Forest cake as well as the hand blown glass handicrafts on June 27, 2016. I posted a separate video on the cuckoo clocks for sale at this village as well as a number of other videos covering various aspects of this amazing enterprise. The long version includes hopefully all my footage from here but at this point I can't remember for sure. Although it exists to serve tourists mainly, the handicraft goods they had and the Black Forest Cake were simply amazing.

Contact with nature frees our mind and gives us an opportunity to answer all our questions. It is the serenity which only nature can offer.
It also helped us realize that in our inner peace lies strength.
This power pushes us forward through every day.
Brings us back and helps us to hear our inner voice more clearly.
It is the voice of our soul that we must follow.
It is the voice of our being, without whom this life would make no sense.
In the time in which we live, there is less space left for ourselves.
We are striving to achieve goals that are not ours.
We're stuffed with information that does not serve us anything.
From loud noises, we do not hear ourselves.
We are getting the impression that we are living someone else’s life.
Leisure has become a luxury.
Waking up each morning without an excitement because we are leaving for work that we do not enjoy, love or care.
We eat on the go because we do not have time to prepare ourselves a healthy meal and indulge in it.
We crash down each night in front of the TV sinking into a silent dream.
Today, more than ever, it is more important for a man to hear himself, to hear his voice, and find inner peace. To reconnect with nature again. Only from that state of mind, it can continue to create.
We are projecting you sounds and images from nature to your home, work space, exercise room or waiting room that will relax your brain by making you smarter, more productive human being.
Our videos are suitable while relaxation, meditation, learning or perhaps working on creative projects.
We would love to encourage you with our videos to get out in nature, breathe in fresh air and explore by yourself the beauty and serenity of surrounding greenery.
Listening attentively to the sounds of nature, observing the landscape in front of us and being aware of each breath we inhale and exhale, we bring ourselves into a meditative state that very effectively enables us to relieve stress and negative thoughts.
Stress is the greatest enemy of today’s lifestyle and this is our way of getting rid of it.
All material is our own, originated while we were in nature, riding bicycles, walking, hiking, and flying a kite.
We’re putting together a lot of interesting stuff for you. If you like our channel, please stay tuned in to get the latest videos.
Subscribe and let us know your thoughts.
Thank you so much for your support and interest and we hope we inspired you to become one day as much an outdoorsy person as we are!
Love & Peace

Viking Cruises narrated tour bus ride from Hofgut Sternen to Breisach (1 of 2)
This is the return trip on our Viking Cruises tour outing to the Black Forest in Germany on June 26, 2016. This captures our narrated return trip from Hofgut Sternen to Breisach where the ship was docked on the Rhine. Jack from Wales is our tour narrator. This was a very nice tour. We are on a Mercedes Benz bus which costs some €350,000. These buses give a very nice ride and are very quiet.
