It's an opportunity for artists to share new ideas with an audience, and for audiences to experience all kinds of live encounter: previous platforms have included live art, contemporary dance, socio-political activism and sound art, and this year will offer an equally imaginative mix. Join us to discover what emerges and share your thoughts with the artists over a beer at the BLOP party in the bar at the end of the day.
A Live Art Platform developed and presented in collaboration with Theatre Bristol and Inbetween Time productions.

London's Hyde Park celebrate England's goal in the semi-final
Millions of England fans were sent into hysterics after Kieran Trippier scored a brilliant free kick taking the Three Lions into half time leading 1-0 against Croatia in the World Cup semi final. Thousands of fans are in the Luzhniki Stadium cheering on the side while more have turned Moscow's Red Square red and white as they poured into the streets of the Russian capital while others showed their support inside the stadium with facepaint and flags. Fans are also at Hyde Park where 30,000 people will watch the match together and big screens are also up and running across London, Manchester, Newcastle, Nottingham, Leeds, Bristol and Brighton.

Bristol Birthday Adventure 2016 VLOG Part 2 of 2
Continuing where Part 1 left off ( the James and Kirsty Bristol birthday adventure UK part 2 begins with a recap of what happened on a very drunken Saturday night and then follows the idiots as they book Sunday lunch at a Speakeasy style restaurant, explore the waterside and Kirsty's pirate aspirations before heading back to the apartment to prepare for the final night, dubbed 'Speakeasy Sunday' where James goes 'full retard' and Kirsty looks fabulous. We then head to the awesome Hyde and Co Speakeasy bar to drink it dry!
This part also introduces the world to a Bristol B-Boy sensation with a penchant for zombie!

Bristol Cannabis Club To March For Their Own Venue 420 2017
Bristol Cannabis Club Co-Founder Alistair Burrell appears on BBC West to speak about the clubs intentions to get their own venue to ease the harms of prohibition such as contaminated street weed, criminal gangs and introducing age regulation.
The march will take place on April 15th.
Professor David Nutt also agrees with the move supporting the clubs intentions and the mission of the United Kingdom Cannabis Social Clubs.
David Raines chimes in with his usual nonsense of distorted facts that are going to be addressed on their own. Go back to school, David! If Cannabis Social Clubs are a flash in the pan in Spain then why are there now 1000 in total up from 700 just 2 years ago? A UK study has also just concluded that stronger cannabis actually is healthier for you as it means you consume less! Stop giving this guy the seat!
The Bristol Cannabis Club will be marching from College Green to raise awareness of their cause and need for better cannabis laws.

What is Hyde and what is Beast ? Hyde is Dave Hyde (Futureheads drummer) and Beast is Neil Bassett (ex-Golden Virgins drummer).
What do Hyde and Beast do ? Hyde and Beast record an album. Hyde sing well. Album sound good. Beast happy.
How did Hyde and Beast ? Neither of them are sure, but the two drummers recorded the album at Neil's Sunderland-based recording studio at the rate of one song per day, and they managed to produce, record and mix it all by themselves.
David Brewis of Field Music and solo artist Lucas Renney provided some beautiful bass and guitar parts to two of songs on the album and for this Hyde And Beast are forever in their debt.
When playing live, Hyde and Beast become a six-person entity with some very familiar faces from the north east music scene joining them for live excursions.
The album 'Slow Down' is a sprawling, gentle psychedelic mess and is due to be released on Tail Feather Records in 15th August 2011.

Unusual chord sequences, and quickfire changes in rhythm and mood called to mind classy, quirky pop made by the likes of Prefab Sprout, Orange Juice and more recently Guillemots. But while Cue Fanfare's music is inventive, it doesn't get too clever and never stops being easy on the ear. Ghost Ships and Murder Mystery cruised along effortlessly as the component parts of the band locked together. New Driver Full Mock Test | 2020 UK Driving Test
The UK Driving Test makes sure a driver has a minimum standard of safety before they are allowed to drive on their own. Once the test has been passed, a driver will continue learning with their experiences and their driving will change. But would they still be able to pass the Driving Test again if they had to? In this video we will find out, as Emma has kindly agreed to drive a full test route for us. She passed her test about 6 months ago, so is used to the new test format - but has not had any extra training to help her prepare for today. We will identify any faults we see, and also monitor the total number of faults so you can see how Emma is doing.
