SEDONA- Slide Rock State Park All-iPhone Photography
Sedona is a city that straddles the county line between Coconino and Yavapai counties in the northern Verde Valley region of the U.S. state of Arizona. Sedona's main attraction is its array of red sandstone formations. The formations appear to glow in brilliant orange and red when illuminated by the rising or setting sun. The red rocks form a popular backdrop for many activities, ranging from spiritual pursuits to the hundreds of hiking and mountain biking trails

Chapel of the Holy Cross, Sedona, Arizona
Sedona Chapel of the Holy Cross : built on a twin pinnacled spur about 250 feet high, jutting out of a thousand foot red rock wall, solid as the Rock of Peter the building of the Chapel was completed in April 1956. The Holy Cross Chapel is very small, perched at the most beautiful part of Sedona...
The Chapel seems to grown out of the rocks instead of being built. The desert views from the chapel are incredible.
Chapel of the Holy Cross - Sedona, Arizona
Built on a messa overlooking Sedona Arizona, this Roman Catholic Chapel was completed in 1956. It has universal appeal and is a must see attraction in Sedona. Inspired and commissioned by sculptor Marguerite Brunswig Staude, student of Frank Lloyd Wright. This sequence was shot with a Canon HFS-100 and edited in Adobe Premier CS5.

ARIZONA RV ROADTRIP - Grand Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, Lake Powell
Arizona RV Roadtrip- Grand Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, and Lake Powell…..but let’s skip Antelope Canyon, because that place is bananas!
After last week's RV breakdown and mechanic problems, we were left questioning every decision we had made that lead us to living full time in a RV. Luckily, the remainder of our time in Arizona was spent doing an incredible bucket list worthy road trip!
TRIPPED TRAVEL GEAR
We make and sell travel products on Amazon. They’re totally rad.
Packing Cubes:
Backpack:
UK/Europe Store:
Like every other RV or tourist passing through AZ, we hit up Grand Canyon, Horseshoe Bend and Glen Canyon Area. Luckily, we heard horror stories about Antelope Canyon from every other tourist and decided we’d had enough photo ops that we could skip the crowds and spend the day on the beach.
Grand Canyon turned out to be a surprisingly easy visit. Since we visited during the summer (and on a weekend) we thought that we’d be absolutely mobbed by other tourists snapping away pictures. Luckily, we made the decision to get there at first light, which helped with thinning out the crowds quite a bit.
Since we didn’t have any place to stash Pepper safely and it was too hot to leave her in the RV, we had to skip the opportunity to do any hiking. In retrospect, taking a slow drive around the canyon and making plenty of stops at pullouts to sit on top of the RV and take in the view was experience enough.
Somehow, we ended up spending almost as much time at Horseshoe Bend. I’ll be the first person to tell you that this is probably my least favorite destination in our entire 2018 RV roadtrip. People are tripping over themselves trying to get a good picture and the view is really not as great as any of the pictures you see heavily filtered online with Instagram princesses posing in front. Nonetheless, Fin puts on an intensive clinic on how to not take a good timelapse video.
Finally, we made a decision which would start to affect the entire rest of our trip- Should we see Antelope Canyon or do what we wanted, which was sit at a Lake Powell beach with some cold drinks? It was here we realized that we needed to stop doing the things we thought we SHOULD do and instead focus on activities that we actually WANTED to do. Glen Canyon area was incredible and we had two great days spent camping 100ft away from the lake.
PS- No, I should not have flown a drone at Lake Powell. I didn’t know at the time I was in a no-drone zone. My apologies to the water and the rocks that I offended.

DJ Downtown Browne Testimonial Julia & Bryan Wedding www.dtbpro.com Flagstaff Ranch AZ
Thank you Julia & Bryan for the honor to DJ your Wedding in Flagstaff AZ at Flagstaff Ranch Country Club!
Click SHOW MORE for their full story...
This couples wedding was a true Class Act mixed with the Fun and the Exuberance of Youth.
Their wedding day began with a lovely Formal Ceremony out on the veranda where they included a really cool Commitment which I believe they called a Wine Box Ceremony. If my memory serves, they sealed a bottle of wine in a decorative wood & glass box and promised they would only break it open after either 5 years of marriage or if they were ever going through a rough patch and needed to re-invigorate their commitment to each other.
Next up...their Grand Entrance. Here is where the fun and youthful exuberance began. The Wedding Party was introduced and when all were in the room the Newlyweds entered to the Star Wars theme song. Then, on top of that, the Wedding Party made a Sword Salute Line with their Light-Sabers as Bryan and Julia joined the party. So much fun! The guests absolutely loved it! Bryan is now a pilot in the Air Force (Bryan, if you're reading this, thank you again for your service) and I have a feeling it all began when he first saw Luke Skywalker flying his X-Wing down the Death Star trench to save the Princess. Yes, I'm that geek too :)
After an elegant dinner we kicked it into high gear with our Platinum Sound and Lighting Package. Wiz-Bang! We were off and running and the dance floor was packed the rest of the night. We played many guest requests and kept a real High Vibe energy, focusing on our Silver Bullet Tracks from many eras to be sure guests of all ages would really enjoy themselves.

Arizona State’s Grand Canyon: Soothing Views Of Ongtupqa Or Wi:kaʼi:la
The Grand Canyon (Hopi: Ongtupqa; Yavapai: Wi:kaʼi:la, Spanish: Gran Cañón), is a steep-sided canyon carved by the Colorado River in the state of Arizona in the United States. It is contained within and managed by Grand Canyon National Park, the Kaibab National Forest, Grand Canyon-Parashant National Monument, the Hualapai Tribal Nation, the Havasupai people and the Navajo Nation. President Theodore Roosevelt was a major proponent of preservation of the Grand Canyon area, and visited it on numerous occasions to hunt and enjoy the scenery.
The Grand Canyon is 277 miles (446 km) long, up to 18 miles (29 km) wide and attains a depth of over a mile (6,093 feet or 1,857 meters). Nearly two billion years of Earth's geological history have been exposed as the Colorado River and its tributaries cut their channels through layer after layer of rock while the Colorado Plateau was uplifted. While the specific geologic processes and timing that formed the Grand Canyon are the subject of debate by geologists, recent evidence suggests that the Colorado River established its course through the canyon at least 17 million years ago. Since that time, the Colorado River continued to erode and form the canyon to its present-day configuration.
For thousands of years, the area has been continuously inhabited by Native Americans who built settlements within the canyon and its many caves. The Pueblo people considered the Grand Canyon (Ongtupqa in the Hopi language) a holy site, and made pilgrimages to it.[7] The first European known to have viewed the Grand Canyon was García López de Cárdenas from Spain, who arrived in 1540.
The SOUTH RIM allows you several options. Common driving routes are from Williams, Arizona (via State Route 64 from Interstate 40) or Flagstaff (via US Highway 180). View detailed driving information here. Commercial airlines serve Phoenix, Flagstaff, and Las Vegas. There is limited air service into Grand Canyon Airport from Las Vegas and elsewhere. Greyhound provides bus service to Flagstaff, and public bus transportation is available from Flagstaff to the South Rim. Amtrak provides rail service to Flagstaff with connecting bus service to the canyon. Grand Canyon Railway offers vintage train service from Williams.
The NORTH RIM does not have as many options. There is no public transportation to the North Rim other than several companies that provide van shuttle service from the South Rim and Flagstaff. More details here. You can drive your personal vehicle on US Highway 89A or State Route 389 to Jacob Lake, just south of the Utah border, and take Highway 67 to the North Rim. You can fly into Las Vegas and drive 263 miles one-way. Keep in mind that heavy snows close the road to the North Rim from late October to mid May of each year.

My son Christian finds a bat on big rock at Slide Rock - Sedona, Arizona
A family could easily spend the whole day cooling off here at Slide Rock in Sedona, Arizona. After sliding down the rapids and natural rock waterslides, jumping off the cliff and having a family picinic lunch, consider taking a hike in the backwoods of this creek. It goes back for miles! There is a secret beach no one knows about back there but it takes a good hike to get back there. There is also a much larger rock 25 feet or more high to jump off of back there. At the end of this video my son is starting what ended up being one of the best hikes we've been on together. We teamed up with another group and headed back there, having to scale a cliff with our fingertips, climb under and over and through the woods .... but in the end, its worth it! We were actually told there was a huge rope swing back there but we never found it. We did find the beach with the deep pool damned up by rocks in the creek and the larger rock to jump off. Where was my wife? While we were hiking, she escaped the area to go shopping in town, we had no idea she was out souvenier shopping for her family and friends.
This video is about a bad with one foot stuck on the crevis of a large boulder. The other foot seems to be rubbed off to a nub trying to escape for hours maybe days, poor little guy. My son says its it was a vampire bat but it was just a common bat native to that area.
Getting to Sedona is easy! Fly into Pheonix and rent a car. Drive it north towards Flagstaff about an hour north and you will see signage saying Sedona left onto this other freeway here and you drive up through Oak Creek Canyon which is all five star golf course resorts (this is where we stayed @ Diamond Resorts. Just about 5-10 minutes up past Bell Rock, is downtown Sedona where all the cool restaurants and shopping is done. There are tons of 4 wheel offroad rental adventure services up there that offer a toured guide or for the more adventerous, you can rent your own quad or sandrail.
