This may sound strange but not a single photo in this video is from San Carlos de Bariloche itself, but from day trips made out of the city. San Carlos de Bariloche is usually called Bariloche and lies in the Argentinean Lake District close to the Chilean border. There are a few popular tourist hubs in Patagonia where its really easy to arrange tours, day tours or longer ones, in order to take in landscapes, flora and fauna or adventure sports, such as white water rafting, kayaking, horse riding, hiking, mountaineering etc. Bariloche is probably the best and biggest of them all and is also a prime ski resort in the winter.

04:16 Kayaking - Lago Gutiérrez
04:45 Lago los Cántaros
White water rafting on the Manso River is of course included in this video, and we did end up crossing the border to Chile for a short while and having a photo of the border sign coming back to Argentina. Rafting was one of first things I included in my 7 weeks in Latin America travel project, and it turned out to be the best single day during he entire trip! Patagonia is such a beautiful location. No matter where you go, you'll find beautiful landscapes and plenty of options for an active holiday.

Kayak Bariloche - Dina Huapi a Pto Americano - 31 1 2018

ARGENTINA: KAYAKING TO ABANDONED ISLAND
Still in Patagonia, this time, we move north to San Carlos de Bariloche! A beautiful town also known as the Lake district of Argentina...the video explains it all. We stayed at Bonita Lake House- the best hostel in Bariloche. Trust us, we booked at another hostel and ended up coming back here. Book with the affiliate link below. We had so much fun kayaking throughout the lake, discovering abandoned buildings, and having our first authentic Argentine assado feast at Bonita lake House!

Circuito Chico Bike Loop + Cerro Campanario in San Carlos de Bariloche, Argentina.
When you visit San Carlos De Bariloche you must hike up to Cerro Campanario to see the whole city of Bariloche. You must also do the bike loop which is called Circuito Chico Loop!! It's got beaches/forests/brewery can I say more?? Patagonia Brewery is a must visit as well spend more time than I did though it was such a beautiful background to have a well deserved drink.
