“Dancing Around the World”
is a worldwide tour to explore, intimately and broadly, the interaction of people, movement and the environment through dance.
We teach dance workshops to local communities to explore what moves people and how people move.
Through a process of collaboration we create site specific performances in order to foster an understanding of how dancing in public spaces enhances our expressive lives.

2017 Kishiwada danjiri matsuri (harvest festival in mid-Sep)
Kishiwada danjiri festival in mid-September , 2017 ....This 300 year- old autumn fest is originally called Inari harvest fest because Inari harvest deity was delivered to a current Kishiki shrine in Kishiwada , which used to be called Inari shrine like FushimiInari shrine in Kyoto. During Ed period, lots of Inari shrines were built and Inari deities were delivered from FushimiInari shrine in Kyoto to those shrines across Japan. Danjiri is such a gorgeous and sacred portable shrine float with rich carving. Mainly you get to see lots of sacred dragon deities which are said to bring blessing rains especially during sevete famines. Celebrating and appreciating rice harvest also unite all the people in the community .
