A travel guide for visiting the Kotohira-gu Shrine in Kotohira Japan. Also known as Konpira-san, this shrine is one of Japan's most difficult ascents, requiring visitors to climb 1,368 to reach the inner shrine.

Kawasaki Daishi （川崎大師） Temple is located in Kawasaki City of Kanagawa Prefecture in Japan.
Kawasaki Daishi Temple is also known as Hirama-ji Temple. It is a very large city temple, which is visited by people from all over the Kanto region. After the Sensoji Temple in Asakusa, it is the second highest visited temple in Kanto region.
This temple also very popular for the new years eve and new year celebrations, where millions of people visit this temple on those two occasions.

Himure Hachimangu Shrine - Shiga - 日牟禮八幡宮 - 4K Ultra HD
Located at the foot of Mount Hachiman in Shiga prefecture, and a few meters away from the Hachiman Bori canal, Himure Hachimangu Shrine is the largest shrine in Omihachiman. It was first established in 131 by Takenouchi no Sukune. In 275 Emperor Ojin visited the shrine and had a divine vision. He saw two sacred rings around the sun that later lead to the name of the shrine “Himure no Yashiro Hachimangu”, which means Sun Gathering Shrine.
It was during the reign of Empress Jito (690-697) the shrine was renamed Himure Shrine after a famous poem.

Travel Japan - Shopping Mall
This is part of a series of 1080p High Definition videos I shot while vacationing in Japan. I wanted to capture a sense of the real sights and sounds of Japan.
I shot this with my canon 7d and 10-22mm canon wide angle lens, opteka steadyvid pro steadicam and I used deshaker to reduce the handheld camera shake.
Shopping malls in Japan are very similar to American malls, yet the differences are striking.

柿生のトンネルアート（ブロギーを自転車につけて撮影）

英国冒険家が宮城に到着 救出の際の映像
手こぎボートで太平洋を単独横断中に遭難し、救助された英国の女性冒険家サラ・アウテンさん（２７）を乗せた第２管区海上保安本部の巡視船が１０日、宮城県の塩釜港に到着した。映像は、８日にアウテンさんが救出された際の様子。

川崎神社(Kawasaki Shrine)(temple shinto)(Tempel)
Kawasaki kannon doo used to be in the west part of Manpuku Ji which was opened by the third Kensho-in.
Legend has it that when Akushichibei Kagekiyo stayed on Kurokami jima in 1185, in order to avoid a violent storm, he dreamt that Kannon the goddess of mercy spoke to him saying Put me in a temple in a mountain. He found Manpuku Ji which looked like the temple from his dream and placed Kannon here.
In the fifth year of Meiji Manpuku Ji was closed and moved to Susuma, but Kannon doo remained.

This is an older style outdoor shopping mall. It seems to go on for ever and has an amazing variety of stores and shops. It's a great place to shop and do some people watching. This type of shopping mall in Japan is called shotengai.

Durante octubre fuimos con unos amigos a Konpira. Un templo famoso por sus escalones y ser uno de los 88 templos del peregrinaje en Shikoku. Además aquí está el teatro Kabuki más antiguo de Japón. Tuvimos la fortuna de ver una presentación y disfrutar el tiempo con amigos.
