Manchester United's 'Red Army' hooligan gang
Manchester United's Red Army was the heyday of football hooliganism, so now meet the men behind the mayhem.
Colin Blaney now an author was once a grafter on a mission - As a 70s youth he joined the boot boys of Manchester United's Red Army as they rampaged through the country. As an adult he learned to 'dip', to sneak-thieve from tills and jewellery stores with his mad Collyhurst crew. But Europe offered the greatest lure. He and his mates served time in half the jails in Continental Europe - and then went back for more. Some people live for the day. A grafter lives for the minute.
In the mid-1980s, a young man from a tough Manchester estate exploded onto the soccer hooligan scene. Known to all as 'Hotshot', he was addicted to terrace violence and wanted to follow in the footsteps of the older United hooligans. He put together a gang of his own, the Young Munich's, and led through years of organised looting and violence.

Scenic Time Lapse Car Journey - London to Bristol along A4
Starting at St Paul's Cathedral in Central London, this is a scenic, cross-country time lapse of my car journey across England to Bristol, finishing in Avonmouth and following the length of the A4.
The scenic route takes us from the start of the A4 at Fleet Street, westwards out of greater London. We go through several large towns such as Reading before winding through beautiful countryside in Berkshire and Wiltshire, and passing through market towns such as Marlborough and Calne.
We then pass right through the centre of Bath and Bristol, and out the other side underneath the Clifton Suspension Bridge and through Clifton Gorge to Avonmouth, where the A4 ends.
It's the scenic route westwards from London to Bristol!

Newcastle to Doncaster-on board an INTERCITY 225
MK1V- DVT Leading, (DVT is a driving van trailer, loco to the rear of train). Stopping at Durham Darlington Northallerton and York. This train in its initial design process was called ELEKTRA, later to become the INTERCITY 225, (225 is kilometres per hour, which is 140mph). After privatisation it became known as just MK1V stock. There was only one portion of line at 140 mph, from Stoke Tunnel to Peterboro.

Manchester Metrolink Trams in the City Centre - 11th April 2015
Another video from my Cheshire Day Ranger I did back on the 11th April. Whilst I was on the day ranger, I had a gap of around two and a half hours free before my second meridian ride. I decided to head into town and do some Tram spotting, something that I don't normally do.
For this video, I filmed all in city center locations, but in two different places. The first part was filmed by Portland Street Tram crossing, the second part was filmed on the tram line triangle besides Parker Street. Trams serving all destinations were filmed here.

Aberdeen to Penzance, In One Day!
This video is property of Train_PlaneHub, RachaelMatt
1080p HD!
Now I've wanted to do this journey for quite some time and finally got around to planning it and on Wednesday 11th November I put that plan into action. The plan was for us to get off the Caledonian sleeper in Aberdeen and make it to Penzance to catch the Night Riviera sleeper. That gave us just over 14 hours to play with. There is one direct Cross Country service a day, however the thought of sitting on a Voyager for that time does not appeal to me. So we did some changes.
Here's the services we got on:
07:52 Virgin East Coast HST to Edinburgh
Onto the 10:51 Virgin Pendolino to Birmingham
A quick stop in New Street for the 15:17 Cross Country Voyager as far as Exeter.
Before finally changing onto a Great Western HST the 18:22 from Exeter to Penzance.
Upon our arrival at Penzance we were then informed the Night Riviera had a fault with one of its coaches meaning the coach was going to be removed. But the sleeper was almost fully booked. So they were looking for volunteers to stop in Penzance over night and as we had no real reason to be in London the following morning we agreed to stay in Penzance. Great Western handled the situation fantastically putting us in a beautiful hotel on the sea front with breakfast included all expenses covered + a taxi. Not only that but a full refund on our sleeper tickets and first class travel back to London the following day! Can't complain really so we had an extra day in Cornwall all covered by Great Western!
A great trip, very tiring lots of things to see along the way.
Thanks for watching
