EUROPE TRAVEL VLOG #16: Cesky Krumlov pt 1/2 - Looking for Ghosts in Cesky Krumlov
Follow me as we spend 24 hours in Cesky Krumlov. Cesky Krumlov was an easy 3 hour bus ride from Prague. We couldn't believe how romantic and magical this UNESCO heritage town is. The first thing we did after checking in was go have a delicious Bohemian feast of rabbit and pheasant (meats that we don't usually eat) before we set off to explore the town. It was fun to aimlessly walk around without having to worry about safety and getting lost. We discovered many interesting sites along the way, including the famous St Vitus Church. At night we joined a ghost tour and heard many spine-tingling stories about this medieval town.
This year I decided to quit my job to go travelling with my sister and boyfriend. Subscribe to see footage from our travels. First stop: Europe & South Korea. 21 cities in 11 countries later, here is some footage I captured.

Cesky Krumlov in December | Czech Republic
I filmed the content for this video back in December 2015 while exploring the various Christmas Markets in Europe.
I stopped for three days in Cesky Krumlov to spend time enjoying the beautiuful medieval Czech city and to experience the Christmas Market as well.
Over the years I've spent quite a lot of time in Cesky Krumlov, although only during the warmer summer months, so it was great to visit in December with all of the markets, Christmas decorations, and cooler weather.
If you're visiting Prague and looking for somewhere nearby to visit then I'd definitely recommend checking out Cesky Krumlov.
It's an easy bus ride or train trip away and you can choose to spend the day wandering around or even spending a night or two getting a great look at the city.
Český Krumlov (UNESCO) - Castle and old town at night in 4K, Czech Republic
„Górny Zamek”, później często rozbudowywany i przebudowywany.

Český Krumlov is a small city in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic where Český Krumlov Castle is located. Old Český Krumlov is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was given this status along with the historic Prague castle district.
The city is named Český Krumlov to differentiate it from Moravský Krumlov in South Moravia.
It’s bisected by the Vltava River, and dominated by its 13th-century castle. The castle has Gothic, Renaissance and baroque elements, an 11-hectare garden and an original 17th-century baroque theater. There are panoramic views of the old town and the river from the top of its round belltower.
EUROPE TRAVEL VLOG #17: Cesky Krumlov pt 2/2 - There's Bears in the Castle!
Follow me as we spend 24 hours in Cesky Krumlov. We joined a free walking tour to learn about the history of this medieval UNESCO town. It was so interesting to hear all the stories that have come out of this place. We got to go to some great vantage points where we got amazing views of the city. We also visited the castle and castle gardens. Did you know there are bears in the castle?

Cesky Krumlov Walking tour June 2018.
Český Krumlov, in Czech Republic, a town with 15000 population, is one of the most picturesque towns in Europe. It’s a little Prague in miniature – a UNESCO World Heritage Site with a stunning castle above the Vltava River, an old town square, Renaissance and baroque architecture.
Baroque night at the Český Krumlov Castle
The annual Baroque Night at the Český Krumlov Castle is a magical night celebrating the castle and the most original baroque theater in Europe.
Fairy Tale Town of Cesky Krumlov, Czech Republic
Cesky Krumlov is a fairy tale medieval town that is the second most popular tourist destination in the Czech Republic behind Prague. Most of the architecture, including its castle, were built in the 14th-17th Centuries. We also stop for a sweet treat called Trdnelnik. Although it's a very quaint town, the horror films Hostel and Hostel II were filmed here. In the movies, young American tourists are kidnapped, tortured, and murdered. I'm glad we didn't spend the night there!
