2012 BOAT HARBOUR TO KURNELL COASTAL WALK
A Coastal Walk at Kurnell, Sydney. Coming from the City catch the train to Cronulla. The 987 bus to Kurnell getting off at the Boat Harbour turnoff. Alternatively park at Kurnell and get the 987 bus to the Boat Harbour turnoff. Walk across to Boat Harbour then north along the coast passing, Potter Point, Cape Baily where you can detour to the Lighthouse and see some great views, past Tabbagai, on to Cape Solander and the Whale Watching Station, look for whales in the mirgrating season, along the road a short distance passing Yena Gap then take the Yena Track for another 1.1K to the Information Centre in Botany Bay National Park (amenities here). Go down to the Bay and walk along past the spot where Ltn James Cook landed in 1770 and to the bus stop back to Cronulla. Have a coffee and brouse the shops while you wait for the bus.

Wedding Cake Rock, also known as White Rock, is a sandstone rock formation located in the Royal National Park near Bundeena, New South Wales, Australia, accessible via the Royal National Park Coast Track. The rock is one of many formations that appear north of Marley Beach, and is suspended 25 metres above sea level.

Walking with Whales in Kurnell
Last weekend, we went walking with whales! A beautiful sun drenched coastal walk took us to a secret location known only to a handful of locals, where the Southern Right Whales and Humpbacks sim so close to shore that we could look them straight in the eye!
