This beautiful Yukon lake definitely inspired some resonant words in celebrated Yukon poet Robert Service's poem, The Cremation of Sam McGee. There is a lovely farm on the lake’s banks, where my friend Sarah grows her organic vegetables. While filming subtle elements of farming life, with the beautiful waters so close to us, Isabella and I were inspired to do a heart-warming dance to a melodic Punjabi song titled Vanjhali Vaja by Amrinder Gill.
Luckily, Bhangra dance from Punjab has many branches, which allow for the expression of every kind of feeling. One of its branches is called Jhoomar. So, we danced Bhangra in the Jhoomar style in order to express the intensity of emotions which would be experienced during the reunion of two lovers. This reunion takes place in the beginning of the song. Later on, the dance evolves to reflect pure joy.
We worked very hard to create this movie and we hope that you love it!

World Class - Inn on the Lake - Whitehorse, Yukon
Many people have a misconception that because the Yukon is located so far up in Canada's great white north that there are no options for high end accommodation. The Inn on the Lake does a great job of proving this theory wrong.

Summer activities include bird watching, hiking, cycling, kayaking, fishing, and star gazing.
With so many outdoor activities on the menu guests are sure to work up a mean appetite and with this in mind there is a Chef selected four course evening menu offered daily. Manager Carson Shiftcorn proudly told us that whenever possible the Chef sources herbs, vegetables, fish, and wild game locally.
To top off your stay you can even enjoy one of the outdoor hot tubs or the indoor sauna and the GCAT crew will confirm that the hot tub is not to be missed, especially considering the view.
