Heli wedding in Wanaka, New Zealand - Auridas & Rūta - Dec 28, 2018
The pinnacle of 3 months planning - our unforgettable heli wedding in Wanaka, New Zealand.
This was a Magical Day when two hearts became one. Two separate parts of this new Heart started beating to the same rhythm, complementing each other, growing and improving in unity.
Life is not the amount of breaths you take but the amount of moments that take your breath away.

Te Anaka for Bacardi Legacy 2016
I am currently in the top 3 of New Zealand for Bacardi Legacy and this is my cocktail Te Anaka.
Inspired by the lifestyle of Wanaka and its excellent community. I want the opportunity to showcase my home and all of what it has to offer. The name Wanaka is a corruption of Oanaka, which means “place of Anaka”, Anaka being the name of an early Maori chief of this district.

The Making of Te Anaka
This is James Crinson's cocktail entry for Bacardi Legacy 2016, currently in the top 3 in New Zealand. The cocktail is inspired by Wanaka lifestyle.
Named after the Maori chief Anaka, Wanaka meaning the place of Anaka.

ABOUT EMMA G:
Finding her voice as she rediscovers her American heritage from her home base in Washington DC, New Zealand-born singer/songwriter Emma G is a combination of Pink, Amy Winehouse, Natalie Merchant, and Sia. Her edgy tones and gutsy lyrics hammer home her messages of love, vulnerability, empowerment and strength with a soul-pop/rock sound that is engaging, inspiring and appealing to a hugely diverse audience.
Unapologetically outspoken, flying her freak flag, and always smiling, Washingtonian Magazine dubbed Emma G as one of the “Best of DC”. One Love Massive describes her as “charismatic”, and ANR Factory describes her voice as poignant and beautiful” with “astounding bravery to speak up” on issues that matter to her.
And where did this bravery come from? A long history of health issues, brain surgeries, battles with depression and suicide, drug addiction, and sexual assault, yet still finding the inner strength to come out the other side positively: singing her truth. “Things that happen to us don’t make us who we are, but we all need to overcome struggles. The trick is to overcome them together.” Says Emma G. “My hope is that my music will not only resonate with individual people, but also ignite those flames of love, resilience and community”.
Recent appearances have included the National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade, Fox5 TV, PBS, and The Kennedy Center, and now - fresh off a 22-date US tour spanning from Washington DC to New York, Burlington, Vermont to Palm Springs, California; and Asheville, North Carolina to Austin, Texas with her band of misfits Joey J Drums and DJ Reality Check, the trio are a force to be reckoned with.
With her career blossoming, and fame surely beckoning, who knows what is around the corner? “I like to have large, improbable goals,” Emma G says with a laugh. “I’ve always been the person who sees the beauty in being truly, authentically yourself and celebrating your weirdness.”

Emma G : Together We Rise NZ Tour
Emma G is coming to New Zealand this August to promote her upcoming fifth single TOGETHER WE RISE: Available on all platforms August 22nd
Together We Rise is an earworm for the heart; a song about resilience, teamwork, embracing diversity, facing your fears, and - most of all - about love - in all of its manifestations.
From being dubbed Washingtonian Magazine’s “Best of DC” to playing the Kennedy Center, New York City’s “Rockwood Music Hall” and Washington DC’s Fourth of July parade, Goddess-Rock singer/songwriter: Emma G is releasing her fifth single TOGETHER WE RISE after just recently completing her first 23-date nationwide US tour with her Band of Misfits.
“We released [our third single] Superhero in September followed by Smile earlier this year,” says Emma G. “but with the recent addition of my band: Joey J Drums and DJ Reality Check, my sound has evolved even further. So much has kind of fallen into place with this new Goddes-rock sound we got going on - and it's all perfectly encapsulated into this latest track!”
Emma G is not wrong. Her audience now covers over 16 states, and continues to grow as Together We Rise is featured in a new documentary-style film “The Weight of Success”, which is currently doing the film festival circuit, and is also up for an academy award.
“I’m so excited about Together We Rise,” Emma G explains. “It was commissioned by Dr Angela Lauria, as the theme song for her multi-million dollar company: The Author Incubator, and it just turned into this vulnerable melodic love letter filled with messages of compassion, overcoming adversity, empowerment, and the importance of diversity and teamwork. It's the perfect song to introduce my new musical direction with!
Together We Rise is officially released on all platforms on August 22nd

LIVE broadcasting of Travelling Pianist - PIANOmad.com
▶ pianomad.com
PIANOmad is dream come true of Vojtěch Pango Zámečník who travels with his upright piano and composes music in middle of nature. Pango was born in 1988 in Czech Republic. He has discovered the first piano at his 5 years. He used to visit piano lessons and he thought he is pretty good, but his teachers hated him.
They used to give him to play some music from the notes, and he was always playing something a bit different - and not even once the same! Do you ask why?? Pango really loves piano improvisation. That is the magic that makes music always unique. He says: “You have to live in the moment, I just transfer this momentary feeling and emotions into the language that everyone understand!”
In the year 2012 he left his home and started to live on the other half of the planet, Australia, where he spent 1 year. The last 4 years he spent in New Zealand. He loves this beautiful land and now he says - “Nature is the greatest inspiration of my music.”
