Black Park
I went to Black Park, just outside Slough near Iver Heath, for a picnic. It's actually a very nice area with a large cafe where they do meals and drinks and have an ice cream counter. There's also another ice cream place the other side of the lake.
Just inside near the car park is Go Ape. These places seem to be everywhere these days and offer all sorts of outdoor fun. The lake is available for fishing and model boats.

ABOUT Dr. Salman Qureshi:
Dr. Salman Qureshi was graduated from Peshawar Medical College - Pakistan and is currently settled in United Kingdom. He remained Regional Chairperson (Elected) of Asian Medical Students’ Association International for two consecutive tenures and succeeded to highlight the name of Pakistan by securing distinctions on international level. He was also honoured to be the youngest delegate from Pakistan to attend 68th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting in Medicine that was held in Lindau – Germany and WHO 9th Global Conference on Health Promotion that was held in Shanghai – China. Besides his experience of working in prominent research institutions and international health organisations, he is also an enthusiastic traveller, an avid backpacker and a food lover. He has also keen interest in visiting historic sites and famous landmarks. He always enjoy in exploring new destinations and tasting traditional (Halal) cuisines. So far he has been able to travel 14 different countries in context of both excursion and educational trips. Let’s join him in this adventurous journey.

This is one of the driving test routes taken in Slough. However the routes are subject to change at the discretion of the DVSA driving examiners.
It shows Stacy Passing her driving test first time. The video also shows Stacy driving through the back roads of Langley and Richings Park.
The independent driving section of the driving test started of at Richings Park and the driving examiner asked Stacy to following the signs toward Iver.

Black Park is a country park in Wexham, Buckinghamshire, England to the north of the A412 road between Slough and Iver Heath. It is managed by Buckinghamshire County Council.
It has an area of 250 hectares (618 acres),of which a small area of 15.3 hectares has been designated a biological Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and a larger area of 66 hectares is a Local Nature Reserve.
Black Park SSSI has heath, alder carr - both rare in the county - mixed and coniferous woodland and some areas of acid grassland. It has a varied fauna, and insects include the nationally rare Roesel's bush cricket. There are eighteen species of butterfly, birds including hobbies and nightjars, and snakes and lizards.
Black Park is adjacent to Pinewood Film Studios and has been used as an outdoor location for many film and television productions. The woods and lake featured prominently in the Hammer Horror films from the late 1950s to the 1970s, including The Curse of Frankenstein (1957), The Brides of Dracula (1960), The Curse of the Werewolf (1961) and Dracula: Prince of Darkness (1966).
In these films the location was often used to represent Transylvania. The park has also been used in film productions such as the James Bond film Goldfinger, where it was used for a night car chase scene (actually set in Switzerland and featuring Bond's Aston Martin DB5), and the 2006 version of Casino Royale, plus several Carry On films, Wombling Free, Batman, Sleepy Hollow, Bugsy Malone, the Harry Potter film series, Captain America: The First Avenger, Robin Hood, Ronin,Eden Lake,Monty Python film And Now for Something Completely Different.
In television, Black Park, together with its lake, was used extensively in location filming for the planet Alzarius in the 1980 Doctor Who serial Full Circle, and was employed again two years later in the recording of the Restoration-era set serial The Visitation. Dressed with fake cobwebs, it was also used for the filming of the early Blake's 7 episode The Web.

During both World War One and Two the Park saw service for the Empire with troops from the Canadian Forestry Regiment helping to farm the Park and harvest the wood, for use in the trenches of France or building air strips in France for the Royal Flying Corps. To this day the lines of trees they planted can still be clearly seen.
Sadly one of the Forestry Regiment never went home after being killed in a road traffic accident on the nearby Crooked Billet Roundabout. He is buried in the nearby St Margaret's Church, Iver Heath. Since 2007 the local Scout Group, 1st Iver Heath have laid poppies on his grave, as part of the Centenary of Scouting and an event called 'Uniform Day 007' that featured a representative of the Canadian Army who helped the Scouts' routine of laying a wreath for this young soldier many miles from home.
On the fields between the park and Iver Heath near Pinewood Studios, a World War One fighter crashed on its way to France after stopping off in Iver Heath. In World War Two a V2 rocket fell very close by the site of the fighter's location.
The Park was also used to store military supplies hidden amongst the trees from enemy surveillance, as was nearby Langley Park.

in a affluent area of Colnbrook these residents who have probally contributed to tax, highways all their life and have to live their retirement in this road which I have not seen as bad even in third world countries. No street lighting, no tarmac, loads of holes in the road. All the cars get filthy with the mud caused by the rain. Councillers say vote for them and they will get the road sorted.If you notice there is no dry part to walk to avoid the puddles, once 6pm arrives the road is in total darkness. This is a recording of a driving test at the Slough driving test centre which is based in Langley.
The Routes taken is a typical Slough driving test route. However the routes are subject to change at the discretion of the DVSA driving examiners.
It shows Harry Passing his driving test. He passed his driving test with zero minor mistakes. Only one out of thousand passes are without any mistakes at all.

Scene on 7 was the local tv programme produced by the Cable Corporation from Langley near Slough. Staffed by volunteer programme makers from the community and run by a small paid team of WMtv staff, it covered local news and events in the Berkshire area for 2 years between 1993 and 1995. Many of the volunteers went on to get full time jobs in the tv industry. Originally fronted by Steve Brennan, it was also hosted by Tom Magner, Patricia Mitchell, Tony O'Rourke and Steve Hyland. WMtv stood for Windsor & Middlesex tv
