Mendoza Vacation Travel Guide | Expedia
Mendoza – Welcome to the Land of Sun and Good Wine. Check out the coolest spots to explore in this Argentine city.
When ready, browse vacation packages to Mendoza:
¡Bienvenidos a Mendoza!
Find #Mendoza at the foot of the Andes and let your #vacation experience roll out through the lush gardens, tree-lined streets and open plazas that drive the city’s culture and heartbeat.
This part of Argentina is great to #visit year-round given its seemingly-endless sunshine. Located on an arid plateau, Mendoza was built on the irrigation channels that were originally dug by the indigenous Huarpe people. These waterways also feed snowmelt from the Andes to Mendoza's vineyards. Mendoza is one of the most highly renowned wine regions in the world.
From above, key Mendoza parks take on the shape of a dotted number five, like on dice. #Explore the central dot, leafy Plaza Independencia and its underground modern art museum. The corners are formed by the Plaza Italia, Plaza General San Martín, Plaza España and Plaza Chile, with their richly decorated statues and fountains.
For now, we hope you enjoy watching this #travel #guide as much as we enjoyed making it.

Amazing Wine Tour in Chile | Colchagua Valley | Highlight of our trip!
Something you simply must do in Chile is a wine tour. We had an amazing day out during our 3 day trip to the wine regions.
The Colchagua Valley is in the heart of Chile wine regions. As part of our Chile series we booked a 1 day wine tour through ColchaguaWineTours.com
Join us as we visit 3 wineries, MontGras, Lapostolle and Ventisquero and had lunch at the Pilar Rodriguez Food & Wine Studio.
We toured the vines and learnt about the different wine types, grapes and how important the skin is! Each vineyard offered a wine tasting and some, a pairing with food.
Lunch was the highlight as Pilar Rodrieguz is a renowned chef in the region and she served us personally.
Finally we take a look at our hotel the Noi Blend Colchagua

The Truth About Chilean Wine | Wine & Aroma Tour in Chile
Its a BEAUTIFUL day to learn the all about Chilean Wine at Viña Undurraga outside Santiago, Chile... via wine & aroma Tour.
The On the Bus squad learns how to properly taste wine using all 5 senses. Following a history lesson, we get deep into the story of Carménère; a grape that reemerged in Chile after 100 years of extinction.
Chile, known for its diversity of climate, has a variety of grapes - and we taste them all before hitting the assembly line to remove stems and leaves. After seeing the infamous earthquake safe barrel room to learn about fermentation we get a history lesson about the Mapuche Indians.
Aaaaaand the Coup de grâce - in our drunken stupor we get a sniff of the private aroma room. (Hint: Butter popcorn smelled the best)

Our Chile Travel Guide features some of the best things to do in the country with our guide offering more than what is in an Chile itinerary or Chile tourism brochure.
The best of travel in Chile! Let's explore this incredible country together.
Visit Chile Travel Guide | Best things to do in Chile Travel Video Transcript:
Our trip to Chile wouldn't have been complete without a visit to the capital, so towards the end of our stay we decided to visit Santiago. We had 4 days to discover what the city was all about, so we set out to visit the main attractions, sample Chilean food, and explore various neighborhoods on foot. We may not have been able to see it all, but the following is our experience in the city. For anyone planning a similar trip, here's a look at 20 things to do in Santiago de Chile on your visit:
And that's a wrap for the Chilean capital! We hope you enjoyed this Santiago travel guide and that it gave you a few ideas of things to do, places to visit, and Chilean dishes to try in the city.
So, hello from Valparaiso. That means paradise on the valley. We have a few days to explore the city and we're planning to do most of it on foot. Yes, and most of it is going up hills as well. And there is so much cool street art here. So we're going to be taking a few different walking tours while we're in town. Today we're doing the first one which should be an overview of the city. And it should be fun. So we're going to take you on a little guided tour of Valparaiso. Yee-haw!
To say Valparaiso is a bit hilly would be an understatement. The city is a maze of steep inclines which means the best way to get around and save your legs for sightseeing, is by riding up and down the funiculars.
After close to a month travelling around Chile, Sam and I hopped on a plane to visit Easter Island, known locally as Rapa Nui. This was the closest we were ever going to get to this remote speck in the ocean, which also happens to be the southeastern most point of the Polynesian Triangle. We gave ourselves one full week to explore Isla de Pascua, and what follows is a travel guide of our time there. We hiked ancient volcanoes, stood face to face with the moai, watched spectacular sunrises and sunsets, and road tripped around the island while wild horses ran alongside. It was an incredible week and we hope this video will inspire you to plan your own visit to Easter Island.
Good afternoon from the town of San Pedro de Atacama in Chile. We've been here a few days taking a few different day trips to visit volcanoes and lagoons and see flamingos and doing lots of cool stuff. We've seen lots of wildlife, we've seen some amazing landscapes. And now we're going to show you the town. It's actually quite small and there isn't a lot to do but if you're taking tours from here you're going to end up spending a bit of time in San Pedro so yeah let's go take a little tour.

Viñas Queirolo: Staying overnight at a Peruvian Vineyard in Ica, Peru
After less than a week of putting up with Lima we were itching at the chance of escaping the hustle and bustle of the city in search of something more laid back. Just kidding. However, when the opportunity to visit a Peruvian Vineyard in Ica was presented to us by Audrey's Uncle and Aunt, we jumped at the opportunity. The private property we ended up staying on was called Viñas Queirolo. This massive Peruvian vineyard was our playground for the weekend. We spent several hours exploring the vineyards, riding our bicycles along the dirt paths and driving to reach scenic higher vantage points. The rest of the time we sipped on locally produced wine and indulged our taste buds with homemade meals. In a word we felt pampered. It's not often that we pursue this type of travel but when the opportunity presents itself we relish every single moment of it ;)

Viñas Queirolo: Staying overnight at a Peruvian Vineyard in Ica, Peru Travel Video Transcript:
So good morning from Ica! We are spending the weekend here at a vineyard. It is called Viñas Queirolo. And it is a beautiful property. It has been so nice to get away from the city just for a day. And yeah, we're going to show you around because it is just a beautiful place.
So we sampled a lot of wine last night and then we ended up going to bed at like eight thirty because we were exhausted. Which meant we woke up really early this morning. We were actually up at six Am. Woke up to the sound of chirping or hooting owls. So we decided to go out for a bike ride. And yeah, we're just riding around the vineyards and it is really quiet. Really peaceful. And really scenic.
So I'm not sure if these grapes are ready or not but I'm going to sample one because they're just hanging there and it is a little tempting. Oh, spider web. Let's take one. I'm just going to rub it clean. It has a little bit of dirt on it. Show me that grape? Mmmm. Those are very sweet. Those are definitely ready. I'm getting eaten alive while I eat my grape. We both are. I think it is time we left the vineyard.
Check out my sweet ride.
And this over here is just my wine barrel for personal consumption only, of course.
So one of the things I love about Spanish style architecture is that you usually have a courtyard right in the middle. So I'm going to show you.
Tada. Green space in the middle of your home.

Our visit Rio De Janeiro travel guide documentary, before the Olympics of 2016, covers some of the top attractions including a food guide (best restaurants and street food), top museums and Rio at night. We also cover off-the-beaten-path activities you won't find in a typical Rio De Janeiro tourism brochure or Rio De Janeiro, Brasil city tour.
25 Things to do in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil Travel Guide and Top Attractions Transcript:
First up, we started with the city’s most iconic sight: Christ Redeemer. We boarded the train as soon as the station opened and made our way to the top of Corcovado Mountain. Sometimes the statue can be shielded by fog, but we lucked out with beautiful blue skies and panoramic views of the city as far as the eye could see.
For a bit of colour, we headed over to the Selaron Steps, which is a tiled staircase created by Chilean artist, Jorge Selarón. Initially Selaron would scavenge construction sites looking for tiles, but in later years as his work gained notoriety, travellers began donating tiles.
Since we chose to stay in the neighbourhood of Ipanema, we ended up spending quite a bit of time at Ipanema Beach. We noticed that this beach was really popular for beach football, volleyball, and surfing. And of course, what makes this beach so iconic are its two mountains, known as Dois Irmãos. If you come here on a clear day, you can catch a killer sunset.
No visit to Rio de Janeiro would be complete without heading up Sugarloaf Mountain, so when the skies finally cleared that’s exactly what we did. We paid for our tickets and boarded the cable car for a somewhat unnerving ride up. If you’re scared of heights, this probably isn’t the attraction for you, however, if you manage to make it to the top you get some really cool panoramic views of Rio.
Copacabana Beach is the most famed beach in all of Rio de Janeiro and if you were to visit on a weekend during the summer months you’d find that the place is packed beyond belief. We happened to be here in winter so things were a lot more relaxed, but that didn’t stop visitors from braving the waters.
We did a favela tour to Babilônia and Chapéu Mangueira. On our tour we saw lots of street art, learned about life inside a favela.
And that is a wrap! We hope this video will give you guys some ideas of things to do in Rio de Janeiro on your visit, and for those travellers who have already been there, feel free to add your suggestion of cool activities and attractions in the comments below.

PORTA AFORA - CHILE (5ª TEMPORADA)

The danger of a single story | Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
Our lives, our cultures, are composed of many overlapping stories. Novelist Chimamanda Adichie tells the story of how she found her authentic cultural voice -- and warns that if we hear only a single story about another person or country, we risk a critical misunderstanding.
TEDTalks is a daily video podcast of the best talks and performances from the TED Conference, where the world's leading thinkers and doers give the talk of their lives in 18 minutes. Ep3 Just give me a smile | BTS: Burn the Stage
In their most private moment, BTS open up and reveal the truth about themselves.
BTS continue their whirlwind South America tour. Though exhausted, the members are able to battle through by supporting each other mentally and physically. After their wild and invigorating performance in Chile, the members celebrate with a small Chi’Maek (Chicken & Beer) Party. During this brief respite, the members reminiscence about their time as trainees, and the early years of their debut. Hear for the first their earliest impressions of each other, and the emotions they experienced when they first began.
