8. CA Midfield General
9. SOT Midfield General - I was in Japan with Norman for the world cup things and we played at Tokyo, 11 thousand people and that was kind of insane, so all the biggest gigs I have ever done are all happening very close to each other.

13. SOT Fatboy Slim - I'm a little bit jittery, I was really nervous last year because I didn't know if it was going to work and this year I am nervous because it worked so well last year I am scared it will not be as good. It's the biggest gig of the year for me and I put so much effort in to it. I know it's going to be good but I want it to be really good. Quite tense.
14. WS Crowds on Beach
15. SOT Fatboy Slim - Last year was 45,000 but this year they are expecting 60,000. To look at the beach I don't know how they are going to get any more than 60 on. In the last of month everyone has been saying 'see you at the beach', so if everybody comes that said they would it could be more than 60, but I don't think we can fit more than 60 on the beach.

FATBOY SLIM BRINGS BRIGHTON TO A STAND STILL
The sea-side town of Brighton, England was plunged in to chaos this weekend when an estimated quarter of a million people flocked to see Fatboy Slim, AKA Norman Cook, DJ on the beach.
The free event, called the Big Beach Boutique, attracted 45,000 people last year when it was first staged and only 10 to 15 thousand more were expected this year, so local services were stretched. Crowds packed onto the beach and along the promenade between Brighton's two piers, forcing Sussex Ambulance Service to call in Brighton's lifeboat crew to ferry people in need of medical attention to the marina.
The event started with a warm up DJ set from 'Skint' record label boss Damian Harris AKA Midfield General. The very first release on Skint was in 1995, and was by the then unknown Fatboy Slim, a track called 'Santa Cruz'. Since then Fatboy Slim has achieved a number one single, Praise You' and number one album, You've Come A Long Way Baby, in consecutive weeks. The latter has now sold over four million copies worldwide.
Next up in the DJ booth was John Digweed, also a local to the area. He is now an in-demand name at clubs and events throughout the world, along with occasional partner, Sasha. Given the circumstances today he opted for a more commercial DJ set rather than his usual intelligent, progressive house sound that he is known for.
I must of been through my records a million times and then gone through them again because you just don't know. I've got a pretty big classic set tonight, more familiar stuff, the crowd is going to be up for it, there's not journey tonight
The event finished at 11pm leaving many stranded in Brighton as local transport couldn't cope with the sheer volume of people.
