Paros - Greece (HD1080p)
คำอธิบาย*** Paros is a small Greek island in the Cyclades archipelago, in the waters of the Aegean Sea, south of the island of Delos and to the west of Naxos, from which it is separated by a canal. It is the third largest island of the archipelago, with little vegetation, mountainous and with great extensions plausible for the culture. ***

The island of Halki (Chalki) is one of the smallest islands in the Southern Aegean, lying west of Rhodes in the Dodecanese Islands. At only 28 sq. km. it is easily possible to take in all of the island’s beauty in one holiday, and it’s 34 km of coastline and numerous hidden caves provide the ideal backdrop for lazy boat trips in its calm coastal waters.
Special thanks to Nissia Holidays for making this awesome weekend to Halki happen! Find out more here:

Paros is a Greek island in the Aegean Sea best known for its beaches and traditional villages. Parikia, the bayside capital, is a boating and transportation hub for the Cyclades region. It's also home to the Panagia Ekatontapiliani, a landmark Byzantine church from the 4th century A.D. The north coast's Kolimbithres is a beach where naturally sculpted rocks form swimming coves.

Next episode E17 Cyclades, Paros to Ios
This Episode: Cyclades, E16 Paros lies to the west of Naxos, from which it is separated by a channel about 8 kilometres wide. It lies approximately 150 km (93 miles) south-east of Piraeus. The Municipality of Paros includes numerous uninhabited offshore islets totalling 196 sq km of land. Its nearest neighbour is the municipality of Antiparos, which lies to its southwest. Historically, Paros was known for its fine white marble, which gave rise to the term Parian to describe marble or china of similar qualities. Today, abandoned marble quarries and mines can be found on the island, but Paros is primarily known as a popular tourist spot. On the north side of the island is the bay of Naoussa or Agoussa, which provides a safe and spacious harbour. Naoussa is an old fishing village marked by tourism but not too overwhelmed, it is characterized by its Venetian port and its many restaurants. The architecture of the area is also incredible. A local bar scene welcoming to international tourists is growing as visitor numbers increase to Paros. Naoussa is considered to be one of the prettiest villages in the Cyclades which despite the tourism has managed to keep its authenticity, its traditional character and its charm, with its whitewashed and flowered houses, churches and chapels, surrounded by labyrinth-like narrow, stone paved streets. Paros is also famous for its numerous beautiful golden beaches, from the wildest and more secluded beaches to the fully organized ones, covering all tastes and needs. Every 23rd of August, nine days after the Assumption of the Virgin, a great festivity is celebrated in Naoussa, during which a representation of the pirates raids is performed by the young people of the village, fireworks are thrown while dancing, eating and drinking continues until dawn. Many archaeological sites and monuments can be found in the area which are well worth visiting
Aliki is beautiful coastal village with a picturesque port, located 13km south of Parikia. . The locals stand out for their kindness and open heart. Aliki takes great care of the food lovers, as a result you will be greatly satisfied from the traditional taverns and the restaurants whose owners grow their own products in order to offer you the best dishes. The village is mostly recommended for family holidays due to its clear sandy beach and taverns. During the summer months, the beaches around Aliki are favourite places for windsurfers. There are also many small coves ideal for total privacy and relaxation. The Cycladic folklore museum can be visited in the suburbs of Aliki, this museum hosts handmade exhibits and miniatures of ships or important monuments, depicting the interesting tradition of Cyclades islands and on the 6th of August in Aliki everyone can join in to celebrate the Festival of Sotiros with live music, plenty of food and local wine.

Greece (Greek: Ελλάδα), officially the Hellenic Republic (Ελληνική Δημοκρατία), historically also known as Hellas, is a country located in Southern Europe,[10] with a population of approximately 11 million as of 2016. Athens is the nation's capital and largest city, followed by Thessaloniki.
Greece is located at the crossroads of Europe, Asia, and Africa. Situated on the southern tip of the Balkan Peninsula, it shares land borders with Albania to the northwest, the Republic of Macedonia and Bulgaria to the north, and Turkey to the northeast. The Aegean Sea lies to the east of the mainland, the Ionian Sea to the west, the Cretan Sea and the Mediterranean Sea to the south. Greece has the longest coastline on the Mediterranean Basin and the 11th longest coastline in the world at 13,676 km (8,498 mi) in length, featuring a large number of islands, of which 227 are inhabited. Eighty percent of Greece is mountainous, with Mount Olympus being the highest peak at 2,918 metres (9,573 ft). The country consists of nine geographic regions: Macedonia, Central Greece, the Peloponnese, Thessaly, Epirus, the Aegean Islands (including the Dodecanese and Cyclades), Thrace, Crete, and the Ionian Islands.
Greece is considered the cradle of Western civilization,[a] being the birthplace of democracy, Western philosophy, the Olympic Games, Western literature, historiography, political science, major scientific and mathematical principles, and Western drama.[14] From the eighth century BC, the Greeks were organised into various independent city-states, known as poleis (singular polis), which spanned the entire Mediterranean region and the Black Sea. Philip of Macedon united most of the Greek mainland in the fourth century BC, with his son Alexander the Great rapidly conquering much of the ancient world, spreading Greek culture and science from the eastern Mediterranean to India. Greece was annexed by Rome in the second century BC, becoming an integral part of the Roman Empire and its successor, the Byzantine Empire, wherein the Greek language and culture were dominant. The Greek Orthodox Church also shaped modern Greek identity and transmitted Greek traditions to the wider Orthodox World.[15] Falling under Ottoman dominion in the mid-15th century, the modern nation state of Greece emerged in 1830 following a war of independence. Greece's rich historical legacy is reflected by its 18 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, among the most in Europe and the world.[16]

SUMMARY
=======
Aegina (; Greek: Αίγινα, Aígina [ˈeʝina], Ancient Greek: Αἴγῑνα) is one of the Saronic Islands of Greece in the Saronic Gulf, 27 kilometres (17 miles) from Athens. Tradition derives the name from Aegina, the mother of the hero Aeacus, who was born on the island and became its king. During ancient times Aegina was a rival of Athens, the great sea power of the era.
