It is also home to popular bars and nightclubs in Mathew Street or the Ropewalks, with the Three Graces, Albert Dock and world-famous waterfront just a short walk away.

Liverpool is a city and a metropolitan district of Merseyside in the North West England region on the east and north of the estuary of the River Mersey. The city was part of Lancashire until 1974 before the formation of Merseyside.
The city was founded in 1207 and received city status in 1880. With a population of 445,200 inhabitants, is the sixth largest city in the UK, and the fourth of England; the urban area of Liverpool includes 816,216 inhabitants1. Second economic center after London, the city has been able to leverage its industrial basin. Its inhabitants are called Liverpuldiens

Liverpool / UK, famously the hometown of The Beatles, is a city in northwest England. This today modern city used to be an important port for trade and migration.
We start our tour at the central Williamson Square with the Liverpool Playhouse Theatre and Radio City Tower behind. First we make a little round towards the area with classical buildings like the St George's Hall.
Back in the central shopping area we head towards the Liverpool port. There at the Canning Dock and the waterfront we see further museums, statues and historical buildings. We visit the Beatles statue and enjoy the evening atmosphere further along the waterfront.
Heading back up the city we quickly see the Liverpool Parish Church gardens and make our way to where we started at the Williamson Square.

If you've only ever seen Mathew Street in films and TV, then it might be fun to see how it looks in 2019. If you're unaware, it's pretty famous for the likes of the Cavern Club, where The Beatles played on many occasions. Sorry for the audio, there's so much noise!

After the Pier Head dock I headed right back to the Liverpool City Centre to do some last minute shopping at the Pound World, then it was off to Mathew street to check out the Cavern Club for the final time.

This was my first time visiting Liverpool, and with great pleasure I want to share this video to show you the places you can visit in Liverpool. For the shopaholics, Liverpool is the place to be! shopping galore, and it is very MUCH cheaper than London! My first impressions of Liverpool were positive, and it is very easy to get around the city (especially if you enjoy walking). I was also impressed by the number of good restaurant that ate in. Unlike Newcastle, the night life in Liverpool is exceptionally great, and restaurants and bars are open till late. There are a lot of places of interest in Liverpool both in the city center and the docks. The places visited where the Royal Albert Docks, Liverpool Waterfront, the Freij Wheels, Liverpool One and the shopping area, the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral, the Liverpool Cathedral, Liverpool Lime Street, St George's Hall, the Central Library, the Liverpool World Museum, and the many streets of Liverpool.

Liverpool city centre is the commercial, cultural, financial and historical centre of Liverpool, England.
The inner city districts of Vauxhall, Everton, Edge Hill, Kensington and Toxteth mark the border with Liverpool city centre which consists of the L1, L2 and L3 postal districts. The population of the city centre has grown dramatically to around 36,000.[1][2]
Liverpool was granted borough status in 1207, and the original seven streets of the settlement can now be found within the commercial district of Liverpool city centre. Many of Liverpool's most famous landmarks are located in the city centre and in 2006 Liverpool was visited by 625,000 international visitors alone, making it the fourth most visited city in the United Kingdom.[3] Six areas within Liverpool city Centre form the Liverpool Maritime Mercantile City which is a UNESCO designated World Heritage Site.
Liverpool city centre is one of the most architecturally significant locations in the country. Examples of architecture in Liverpool city centre include Liverpool Cathedral,[4] St. George's Hall,[5] the Royal Liver Building, Oriel Chambers, the world's first metal framed glass curtain walled building, and West Tower.[6]
