A Visit To St Illtuds Church Llantwit Major South Wales
Recently on Saturday I joined a few Mad lot from my Church from Llanrhidian and two of the nearby Churches as we went to Visit St Illtuds Church In Llantwit Major in South Wales the weather was great... here I show you some shots inside the Church and Outside this Church had a recent improvement called the Galiiee Chapel and the Celtic Stones more info in the links here:
We where looking to go to Elwin Priory just outside Bridgend but we shall go there another time as we didn't have time spent too much time in the Pub!!... I may get down there myself at some point.

Snowy Llantwit Major - St David's Day 2018 - Beast From The East Meets Storm Emma
Some video shot around Llantwit Major in Wales at about 5pm on the 1st of March 2018, when the second band of snow started to hit. Today is St David's Day in Wales, and thoughts are usually turning to Spring. However, with the Beast From The East hitting Storm Emma, we've had a Red Weather alert and a good bit of snow. The wind was starting to get stronger and is now blowing away down the chimney. OK, I know it's not severe weather compared to many of our European neighbours, but it's unusual to get so much snow this late into Winter around these parts!

A Celtic Christian community founded by St Illtud in the 5th century; a burial place of kings; a fine medieval church; and a rebuilt Galilee Chapel housing an important collection of Celtic Christian stones.

Storm Callum Hits The Uk Coast
Ex Hurricane Callum hits the South Wales Coast, with strong winds, heavy rain and huge storm surges. This severe weather event was captured as it hit the Llantwit major beach in south Wales.

Mass brawl between Welsh rival rugby teams erupts during game

A mass brawl between rival rugby teams was caught on camera before four players were sent off and discipline chiefs launched an official investigation.
The footage was recorded by a spectator at the match between Cambrian and Treorchy in Wales on Saturday.
In the video, Cambrian Welfare RFC can be seen wearing red jerseys with Treorchy wearing the darker black-and-white striped kit.
The scuffle is already well underway when the clip begins with the crowd watching on from the stands and shouting down to the players.
The referee blows his whistle in an attempt to get the situation under control but none of the 30 players on the pitch seem to notice.
In the centre of the brawl, several Cambrian players can be seen grappling with a member from the opposing team before they drag him to the ground.
Other players splinter off into mini-groups as a tirade of kicks and punches are launched from members of both teams.
The referee tries once again to blow his whistle before looking around in despair.
One group stumbles closer toward the crowd as dozens of players pile in on top of each other.
The referee walks over as the two sides separate and help their team mates off the floor.
The brawl then seems to come to an end as the players start to walk away from each other.
The referee takes a few steps back as several Cambrian players follow him and the video ends shortly after.
Two players from each side were given straight red cards as a result of the fracas and Welsh Rugby Union disciplinary chiefs have said that they will now launch an investigation.
The scrap took place in the second half of the match in the Division One East Central top versus bottom meeting.
Division leaders Treorchy have already had initial talks about what happened during the clash and have agreed to probe the matter further.
And the club secretary for bottom of the table Cambrian, Stephen Thomas, confirmed they would be holding a meeting on Monday night to investigate.
Treorchy ended up winning the game 16-10.
Speaking to WalesOnline, the club's chairman Andrew Jones said: 'It was hugely disappointing from our perspective to put it mildly.
'It was a one-off flare-up and there were no cards issued by the referee up to that point.
'It was played in a good spirit and that's what made it all the more disappointing. I don't want our club to get themselves involved in anything like that. We certainly condone that.'
Shocking footage shows Welsh rugby players brawling on the pitch
Division One East rivals Blaenavon RFC and Pontypool United were reportedly facing off last weekend when the fight erupted shortly before half time. The cause of the conflict, which broke out at the main stand of Blaenavon's Recreation Ground in South Wales, remains unknown. Punches seem to be thrown by players on both sides amid a flurry of pushing and shouting as fans cheer on the confrontation, with one observer yelling 'go on boys! F****** lay into him!'
